Chained dogs

Today Xmas day, I passed the residence at 1784 hwy 319 at Hardy to see another dead dog lying in the snow still chained. This is the second time in two weeks this has happened. Less than two weeks ago I saw another dead dog still chained partially covered with snow at the same location. I did notify the authorities who were to investigate the abuse, evidently nothing came of the investigation. So here less than two weeks later the situation is repeated. There is one dog left chained on a hill side where there were three two weerks ago. Wonder how long it will be before the third dog meets the same fate?
Please, people of Hardy lets raise our voices to the authorities who have the power to stop this kind of abuse. Man's best friend needs us to stop animal abuse and neglect.

It's in Hardy between the camps. What ticks me off is I have reported them. If their is someone on Narrows Branch abusing animals u should report them too. I agree treehugger if we all complain then it looks like they would do something. My Lord, we have our own small town Micheal Vick dog fighting club going on and no one cares. It all makes me sick. Anyone who can treat an animal so cruelly needs to suffer the same fate. Come on people help save these poor defenseless animals start calling the state police, the humane society, anybody who will listen. I think I am going to call a federal or state agency, meaning directly to Frankfort and then maybe something will get done.

Its so stupid for anyone to chain dogs if you cant have a yard with a fence you dont need to have animals. What kind of life is it for animals who are chained? You cant care or love your animals if you chain them up. I will report them to the rite people and if we all in hardy call i can only hope we can get this changed. It is a shame and i hope the people get whats comeing to them. Its to cold for the dogs they cant move to get their body heat up and will freeze to death.

Not sure exactly where this is, but somebody needs to do something....not just wait and see. Get the media involved! If this was already reported and nothing was done, someone is responsible and this should NOT go unnoticed! Even the weakest laws of a State require food, water and shelter. PLEASE help the 3rd dog and hold the "caretakers" of all 3 of these dogs accountable. This type of treatment of dogs has got to stop and the people of the community are the only ones that can make this happen....the dogs are absolutely helpless. Make your tax dollars work for you people! You are paying the salaries of the AC's, the Sheriff Dpt., Police Dpt., etc. Be sure they are doing their job no matter how weak the law is, then fight for stronger laws.

What about the back alley in the Hardy camp? This man said that no one can make him do any different than he is in taking care of his dogs. The law and humane society has been looking the other way because they have been there.

If only people were as concerned for their children as they are other people's animals, they would be a lot better off!!

Oh touchy are we? Take care of you animals and people will stay out of you business. Food, water, shelter from the elements, and love. If you can't give them that. Find someone who will. Or put a bullet in their head. That is more humane than them freezing/starving to death. You chose to get that pet. It did not decide it just wanted a lazy SOB for an owner. Just satin they can't fend for them self and if animals are being neglected or abused someone needs to speak on it.

Of course! Where are my priorities?? I'll make sure that my animals have "food, water, shelter from the elements, and love" meanwhile, my parents are raising my children. LOL

Well that's just horrible that you can't raise your own children or take care of your pets. How dare they burden you like that. Poor soul. Go get tor kids and tell the pound to come get your animals. LOL

But see I halve no kids or pets because I don't have the time to properly care for either. Its a simple choice. Sorry you are so offended by the truth. Have a nice day and remember to feed your animals oh and don't forget those kids your parents are raising. LOL
