The former Rebel Express Band drummer has put together yet another awesome band. Larry's death shocked us all and was not a pleasant experience. His drummer said he put this band together to keep great music alive and is doing it all in memory of Larry who he says quote, "was the best singer this area has ever known." You can witness this fantastic band October 31st at the Williford American Legion from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m. Come one, come all and enjoy a night of fantastic music and dancing. Feel free to don a costume as this is Halloween night. Must be 21 to enter. Can't wait to see you all there!

We'll be there i guarantee you. I am sure no one will ever replace Larry but the drummer is a pretty cool dude and a great people person. He always spoke to my wife and I and took the time to speak to everyone else when they played at the Downhome resturant.

The summer of 2008 when Larry and the band played at Hardy, my wife and I will never forget. We tried to be there every Saturday night to hear them. We only been back a few times to listen to whoever's playing but it's not the same. Best honky tonk band there was!

First off i am sorry about your fathers death. I only met him once but heard him sing several times in Hardy. He was fantastic! I lost my dad a few years ago so i know the pain you feel. Second off this is not my band. I do not sing or play any musical instrument of any kind. I am not that talented. I am only a mutual friend of the lady that runs the Williford Legion and Allan, the drummer. Neither one of them had anything to do with me posting this. I started this thread only because several people have been wanting the Rebel Express band to play in Hardy and though there will never be another band as great as that one i wanted people to know that good music still exists and Allan has made some good friends in Hardy. He talks very highly of Larry, i have never heard him down him in anyway. I am sorry if i have offended you or any of your family in anyway, that was clearly not my intention. Please read the first paragraph of this topic again and maybe you can understand. All i wanted was for people to know that "part" of the Rebel Express band would be close to Hardy since they was and are still so well loved there. Once again i am sorry if i have offended anyone.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Libra

You're full of empathy and affection today, so it would be a shame not to spread it around. It's a marvellous day for a low-key get-together with some of the people you haven't seen during the past few days, because you'll enjoy having a good chat about what's been happening. Once your social duties are out of the way you'll love curling up on the sofa with a good book or a favourite film.
