So since this is apparently the best way to get things read. I work at the Garlic Rose and want to get the word out that we are looking for servers and possibly a little kitchen help. The server position could turn into a management position so managment experience would greatly help. If you or anyone you know is interested please drop by a pick up an application.

Keep up the good work. Garlic Rose is a great place to eat. Thanks for bringing some night life to downtown.

I also work at the garlic rose and would like to inform anyone that would like to apply to the garlic rose that it is a good place to work and you will never have a better boss in your entire life. It is not hard work and it is fun. So everyone is encouraged to apply and have an opportunity at a great job.

I've only eaten there once and it was right after they opened. Their service is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. The food however, was not that great. At that time they had Chicken Parmigan and Chickan Marsala both on the menu. One of the people I was with ordered the Parmigan and I ordered the Marsala. Both appeared to use the same breaded chicken (frozen) as the basis of the meat in the meal.

All of that siad, I will return the next time I'm in town to see if they've gotten better. This assessment may be unfair based on the fact that they had only been open a few days when I went there.

I ordered the gellato and was pleasantly surprised, but when I asked the waiter if he could tell me the difference between ice cream and gellato, he did not know. Again--they had just opened. I think it is GREAT to see this type of upscale establishment on Main Street and I really hope they do well.
