I sneak around all over the place
starting juicy rumors til I’m blue in the face
some people live by the golden rule
but no not me coz I’m a fool
I run back and forth carrying my little tales
I toddle much faster than the US mail
Up and down main street as fast as I can go
Telling all the tales I think they don’t know
I don’t care if none of it is true
I just love the attention so it’s too bad for you
I feel so important when I’m sneaking around
I’m totally unaware that I viewed as a clown
They smile and shake their heads behind my back
I just keep telling those rumors it really is a knack
Back and forth, up and down the street
I’m telling those rumors and I can’t be beat
I tell a lot of rumors while selling stink bait
I really am good at stirring up the hate
We stand around and whisper in our little group
But All of what we say is really nothing but poop
I should learn a lesson about honesty and love
But I just can’t seem to follow directions from up above
I’ll just keep on trucking up and down the side walk
Doing my nasty rumor thing and talkin the crappy talk

Defamation—also called calumny, vilification, slander (for transitory statements), and libel (for written, broadcast, or otherwise published words)—is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation a negative image. It is usually a requirement that this claim be false and that the publication is communicated to someone other than the person defamed (the claimant).[1]

In common law jurisdictions, slander refers to a malicious, false,[2] and defamatory spoken statement or report, while libel refers to any other form of communication such as written words or images.[3] Most jurisdictions allow legal actions, civil and/or criminal, to deter various kinds of defamation and retaliate against groundless criticism. Related to defamation is public disclosure of private facts, which arises where one person reveals information that is not of public concern, and the release of which would offend a reasonable person. "Unlike [with] libel, truth is not a defense for invasion of privacy."[4][not verified in body]

False light laws are "intended primarily to protect the plaintiff's mental or emotional well-being."[5] If a publication of information is false, then a tort of defamation might have occurred. If that communication is not technically false but is still misleading, then a tort of false light might have occurred.[5]

In most civil law jurisdictions, defamation is dealt with as a crime rather than a tort.[6]

A person who destroys another's reputation may be referred to as a famacide, defamer, or slanderer. The Latin phrase famosus libellus means a libelous writing.

Where is anyone named in that poem? Looks as if some webmasters in this area are gonna go down if your rendition of the law is correct. Bye Bye now.

yeah that gate door swung and popped him in the ass... Talking about the white van and all before knowing the facts. Lmao! Talk about putting his foot in his oversized trap. What a fool. People like that really never learn the lesson about gossip, but if they're not totally stupid, they do learn who not to f*** with.

The Amish food they sale is stale as well.

And your going to subpeona topix for his IP and then subpeona his ISP for the last known holder of that IP and then your going to find out that IP has been used by a dozen accounts in the last month. Then you'll narrow it down to the day the post was made, the IP it came from and the address where its dropped at and find the guy on the other end has WIFI and it's used by 3 people in his house, 2 neighbors and every car that drives by. Then, you will wish you hadn't wasted your time or ours with the empty threats. If one post on Topix is causing a loss of business, the business was in trouble long before this guys post and you sir are a sh!t stirrer, a time waster and can cut and paste from WIKI with descriptions of legal terms. Get a life and quit hanging around here trying to impress, its not working Mr. Wow.

I could care less about you, topix or the people here, I was just laughing at you and your empty threats. Going to sue for this and that, what a gas bag. If you had a clue as to what was involved in finding an anon poster on a site like this, you would keep your bs threats to yourself. You come and spout like you have a brain, what a joke. No go clean the litter box like a good house frau and quit acting like you suddenly grew a brain.

I am just a flower pot,
looking for my special spot.
I thought it was along the walk,
but now some folk started to talk.

The walk it's width has been just fine,
but now they say I am over the line.
Two foot three foot four foot seven,
it's time for this pot to go to heaven.
