So these idiots live out in the sticks and now they want tax dollars to subsidize expansion of broadband to their house. How about this: MOVE CLOSER TO TOWN!

It is heaven to work from home. I'm on the grid, on the bus route, but no broadband. 16 Miles from the capital. Is that the definition of Sticks? It would be a nice planet if we all stayed home... quieter, cleaner. Why are the prevalent telecommuters from India and China?

Sadly, without DSL or Cable, the only option is High Priced dialup, otherwise known as two-way satellite. Hughes and Wild Blue both have "Fair Access Policies" that reduce VPN (business) connections to 64k.
