She murdered a US Navy Vet who served on the USS Enterprise. I hope she gets the death penalty. I am so sick of people who don't care about themselves let alone other people by drinking themselves drunk and thereby making their car an instrument of murder.

My wife and I were biking along Lagoon Rd. and found the body laying on the side of the road. It was a traffic and devastating experience for everyone involved. While I am normally a strong advocate for the death penalty in murder cases there are two circumstances involved here that bear consideration. The first is that this is a very dark section of the road. The driver would be leaving a well lit area around Coligney Plaza and merging into an area with very limited vision. The other thought is that even though it is likely that the driver was drunk (based on previous DUI convictions), she at least suffered guilt following the accident and basically turned herself in with the call about the broken limb. By the time she called in she had to know that she had killed an innocent victim.
Throw the book at her and keep her behind bars forever. I do not believe that she is a vicious killer without a conscience.
