I stopped at this scene; as an EMS worker with 20 years experience and my husband who accompanied me to assist being a an EMT-Paramedic with over 30 years experience, I would wish to be contacted by EMS management in reference to this scene. I appreciate your prompt response. In no way am I a professional EMS/hospital worker who would "push" their way into a scene; however, my husband and I would desperately like to speak to someone in confidence.
Thank you.

I responded to this MVC, There was many bystanders on scene. Im sure you have had this conflict In your on home state. everybody is a "paramedic" "firefighter" from out of state. "just passing buy" and stoped to assist. As you can remember.. there was a fair amount of certified personnel that arrived. Your actions were appreciated, but the problem arised when you directed a junior member to get under the front of a car before the AIC had breifed that member on the status of the extercation. Causing a hinderance and DANGEROUS sitaution. By not being familar with the crew on scene your ignorance. Put us all at risk.

theresa, i was on that scence sunday, sorry but i did not have any contact with you are your husband, one thing that i wish had occured was more control with bystanders i had a hard time trying to communicate with the station 10 member in the car and also with the victim,to get a good verbal assessment on her condition, and render care, noise was over riding the ability to hear either one,i am interested in hearing what you have to say from your view, comments can sometimes be a help when you have someone looking from the outside

My mother was the driver involved in this accident. The gentleman who passed was in VA along w/ my mother to visit his dying sister (She passed Sat). It is a tragedy to his family (both deaths)and the grief with my mother is something she must deal with. She cannot remember anything and it would be helpful to Mr Abney's family if there is anything that could be shared (Information) with my mom and the Abney family. Pls email me at dwsjca@hotmail.com

Thank you all.

I am the sister of the young man that was killed in this crash. He was coming home from assisting in the planning of the funeral arrangements for his oldest sister (my sister) when the crash occurred. For anyone who happened on the scene or was there when it happened, can you email me and tell me what you witnessed. My family and I would like to know what happened.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Taurus

It's important that you keep that famous bull-headedness in check over the next couple of weeks. Be cool, calm and sensible and you'll find that you end up with things correctly and tidily done. Stick to the straight and narrow, no matter what the distractions or irritations around you. If you think outside the square, you'll begin to see how visualisation can change and shape your life. Trust your hunches and be ready to move on them.
