Man sentenced to 230 years for molesting child

Full story: Cleburne Times-Review

This is another example of how the DA's office, under Dale Hanna, and the Johnson County juries will not tolerate people who hurt children. An Alvarado man was sentenced to 230 years in prison and $60,000 in fines Thursday for sexually assaulting a young girl he knew. via Cleburne Times-Review

I am proud of all the organizations, from the investigators, to our the great citizens of Cleburne, for bringing this man to justice, and letting the public know that Johnson County will not tolerate abuse of any child. I am especially proud of the family member, that did not let the childs words go unheard. That child will never be the same, as this preditor stole her childhood innocence and trust away from her for ever. This is one crime that I wish our state represenatives, would pass a law that commands a death sentence for, as they have killed the child emotionally for the rest of their lives. Hurray for Johnson County!

Pats on the backs to the men and women who sat on the jury of Johnson County. It is about time we do something to these sick individuals who mess with our young children. But in all reality, is him getting sentenced to 230 years worth that little girls innocence? He robbed her of your childhood and she will not be able to trust anyone. I do not think this man deserves our tax dollars to sit in an air conditioned building, eating three free meals a day. That is a luxary! We need a different type of punishment for people like this. They always plend "insane" and get off with a lesser charge. They are not insane. They know exactly what they are doing and Johnson County Judge and juries need stronger punishment. Whatever happened to "an eye for an eye?"

I was very happy to hear the 230 years the Johnson County jury gave for taking that childs innocence. My family is living this legal process in Johnson County and feel the molster will pay for his actions.I agree why should taxpayers have to pay for these sick people till they die, 20to30 years down the road.Johnson County takes a STAND LIFE FOR CHILD MOSTERS!
