This young boy made a mistake. And we all made mistakes. We will never find out what Bill was doing . Yall just need to let this story go . And careful The Judge is watching he will handle this . in her own way . And yall never know yall may walk this families shoes and be having to protect your child .

Look people. As someone who has had family members fall victim to car accidents, I can vouch that there isn't much time to react in these situations. These things happen a lot faster than you think they do.
If you think that you could have gotten out of the way, you would be mistaken. You have not been in a car accident. Most times there is no way to avoid it once you see it coming & you know that there's no way to stop the accident.
Look at this logically. Sickal drove drunk & killed a man. It doesn't matter how good he is or isn't, he still killed someone by his poor choices. People can shout "leave him alone, he's suffering" but seriously... this isn't the type of thing that stops. The internet voices will eventually fade, but they will be replaced by other voices- people that actually do know him. His friends will whisper & even those defending him will hesitate before they ever really do anything with him again. Why? Because deep down they know that ultimately he was at fault for this. It's one thing to defend someone, but come on... how many of you friends would really get into a car with him after this? How many of you will really be able to look at him & not see someone that has caused a death?
And as for those who say that Goode caused the accident... you guys are sick. Again, it's hard to avoid an accident once you see it coming. You try to swerve, but odds are that Sickal was coming too fast to avoid. I'm certain that Goode did try to swerve, but you've got to remember- these accidents only last for a few seconds & there's a short time to respond to them. For the people who say "he shouldn't have been out on New Years", grow up. If anyone shouldn't have been out on New Years, it's Sickal.
For the guy who is posting about his car- you are just as sick, trying to gain attention. You'll gain it, but I doubt it'll be the type you actually want.

You got that right they wont answer that will they . cause if it was my son which i have 2 i be doing what i had to do . so til you walk those shoes just pray for both families and remember this boy has to live with his mistake the rest of his life . we all make mistakes and if u say you dont then you are lying to yourself

The family of the deceased & someone from the scene (a cop or an ambulance driver) has posted on the RTD forum. They said that not only was this Sickal drunk as a freaking skunk, but he was LAUGHING at everything & fighting when the ambulance drivers tried to strap him down.
If he was really a "good kid" he wouldn't have been driving drunk or be laughing at the fact that he just committed manslaughter. It doesn't take freaking rocket science to call someone to drive you home because you are too drunk to drive.
April, you should get up & thank your lucky stars that your sister is still alive. She could have been driving with him... and be in the hospital because he was stupidly driving drunk.
This poor 9 year old girl will now have to spend her entire life without her father. Each holiday season she'll remember how some callous youth caused a horrific car crash that killed her father. And she'll remember that he laughed & laughed at everything that he'd done.
That monster belongs in jail. I hope he makes lots of new "friends" & that they give him what he truly deserves. Maybe it's an accident, but the moment he drove out drunk he became a murderer.
I am sure he wasnt laughing at what happen . I am sure at this point he didnt even know what he had done . he is not a monster and he isnt a murderer he is just one of the many that make mistakes his was just a very costly one. you must not have children cause if it was your child you would do everything in your power to protect him .
