I'm not usually one to look forward to a gas station, especially cause Hanover has so many, but it's definitely welcome. New chain, relatively different location (as opposed to north or south Hanover), and a definite improvement over the dilapidated old ugly station that was there forever...

Finally a good reason to go downtown besides going to the Franklin House for the Hot Beef.

The old gas station was neat back in its day, with the motel on top. They better hire some security to keep the teen mobs from hanging out.

I'm glad to see that lot being cleaned up and utilized, but only in Hanover can you see an entire newspaper article dedicated to fried chicken at a convenience store ...

Bring all the high tech jobs to the area, hurry college grads. Get downtown to the Royal Farms and apply. This does not help out the economic crisis for the area. It does help the area that was run down from the other business like Getty that was trashing the building. The infestations of drugs, homeless, lower socioeconomic status individuals hanging around. Franklin House bar, Hoffnagles hotel, Halfway house for sex offenders being in the area. I think its going to cater to these individual and I will not being stopping there. Your worried about chicken being served. I would worry about being mugged going in the business at night.

Nice comments :(
It's an improvemnet. Let's at least give it a chance and see how it goes...WHY must everyone ASSUME that it will be this or it will be that. SO tired of all the negative online comments on ANYTHING good happening in Hanover.
As always, if it bothers you that much - DON'T GO THERE! I for one, am thrilled to see the improvemant, and wish them ALL the best.

How many local newspapers from small towns do you read each day to make this determination?
