I am pretty aggravated with SL. I'm a IBO. Means I paid to have protection for my territory . Problem is a few stores that I don't work in my territory are getting SL products shipped from warehouse . The prices for the product are better than what we offer at the Supercenter's. So as soon as customers realize that I'll be competeting directly with SL so much for protected territory.

Yeah same thing happened to me. I have some dollar store accounts that sell special items for $1. Half the size of original that S-L sales in Wal-Mart and Krogers. If customer buys 2 items they are equivalent as full ones off my truck but instead of 2/5 when they are on sale at my stores they are only out $2....#bull crap

After 22 1/2 years with Lance, The higher ups decided not to offer me a route when the IBO deal went live...Even though my route had done over $500,000 a year for many years in a row....I was told I was close to 62 so they figured I would retire anyway.....I was a little bitter at first, but it didn't take long for me to find out they did me a favor.......I agree with you about what IBO means now...It should be called STBO......Screw The Business Owner...

I had 24 years with Lance and they did the same thing to me. they also did me a favor . they were horrible to work for. they would short my orders 50% on crackers every week. that never happened when Lance ran the company. I now own a Mission route and the management is wonderful to help me out and build my business and they send me 100% of my orders every week. Buy the way I hear their sales on crackers are down about 40% since they took over. it serves them right.

If they actually told you it was because you were 62 you had an age discrimination case against them. Big time. Was there anybody else there when they told you that? They did the same to me. My route averaged $9,000 a week, the largest in the depot, I was 61. Not offered a route but they weren't stupid enough to say it was my age. If they had I would have sued them immediately.
