Gallup: Voter opposition to Obama at 16-year high, worse than Bush, Clinton
October 5, 2014
Angry and frustrated voters are planning to use the midterm elections in one month to tell President Obama they oppose his agenda, the highest “no vote” percentage in the last 16 years measured by Gallup.
The polling outfit found that 32 percent of voters want to send a message of opposition with their vote, compared to just 20 percent who are sending a signal of support.
That is 13 points higher than in 1998 when former President Clinton was headed to impeachment for lying about his sex affair with a former White House intern and even a smidge higher — 2 points — than in 2008, when Americans were tired of President Bush’s military actions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Jimmy Carter: Obama Dropped the Ball on ISIS Threat
October 8, 2014
Democratic ex-president becomes latest Obama ally to turn critic
Former President Jimmy Carter has criticized the Obama administration’s handling of the crisis in the Middle East and the growing threat of the Islamic State, joining a growing list of the president’s allies who are scrutinizing his strategy in Syria and Iraq.
“We let the Islamic state build up its money, capability and strength and weapons while it was still in Syria,” Carter said.“Then when [ISIS] moved into Iraq, the Sunni Muslims didn’t object to their being there and about a third of the territory in Iraq was abandoned.”
Carter added that the use of ground troops in addition to the current air campaign could ensure the U.S. succeeds in Iraq.“If we keep on working in Iraq and have some ground troops to follow up when we do our bombing, there is a possibility of success,” he said.

Panetta: I Told White House ‘from the Very Beginning’ that Benghazi Was a Terrorist Attack
October 7, 2014
Former defense secretary Leon Panetta continues to pile on criticism of his former Obama-administration colleagues, telling NBC’s Andrea Mitchell on Tuesday that he immediately “sensed” that Benghazi was a terrorist attack, and told administration officials as much.
“I didn’t have any specific information,” he said.“But the fact was, when you bring grenade launchers to a demonstration, there’s something else going on. And I just, from the very beginning, sensed that this was a terrorist attack on our compound. And I remember saying to [CIA director Petraeus],‘Look, based on the weapons that I see, based on the nature of the attack, I think this was a terrorist attack.’”
Obama-administration officials insisted for weeks afterward that the September 11, 2012 attack was a demonstration that spiraled out of control — not, as it was later confirmed, a planned terrorist strike carried out by al-Qaeda-linked elements in Libya.

You're confused. Perhaps it's because you get your news from the Koch Brothers.
Obama called it a terrorist attack the next day.
When did Bush call the 13 attacks on US embassies that happened under his watch "terrorism?"

This is what Romney said on one of the Presidential debates thus losing the election for lying and not having his facts straight. All the news networks ran his 'speech' as 'lack of knowledge on world issues'.........

Bobby Kennedy: Climate Denying Businesses Deserve 'Death Penalty'
Oct. 7, 2014
Last week, Bobby Kennedy Jr. announced he thought denying climate change should be criminal:“Do I think the Koch brothers should be prosecuted for reckless endangerment? Absolutely. That’s a criminal offense and they ought to be serving time for it.”
Now he’s trying to “clarify” that nonsense.
“Hysterics [on the Right] are foaming in apoplexy because I supposedly suggested that ‘all climate deniers should be jailed,’” he taunted.“Of course I never said that. I support the First Amendment, which makes room for any citizen to, even knowingly, spew far more vile lies without legal consequence.”
Got that? Denying climate change is a vile lie, though there are worse ones.
Then he doubled down, saying,“I do, however, believe that corporations which deliberately, purposefully, maliciously and systematically sponsor climate lies should be given the death penalty. This can be accomplished through an existing legal proceeding known as ‘charter revocation.’ State Attorneys General can invoke this remedy whenever corporations put their profit-making before the ‘public welfare.’”

CBS Buries Results of Own Poll Showing Poor Ratings for Obama, Democrats Ahead of Midterms
On Wednesday night, the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley made no mention of the results from the latest CBS News poll that gave President Obama and Democrats poor marks ahead of the November 4 midterm elections on issues ranging from the economy to ISIS to terrorism to who voters are most likely to vote for.
Regarding the midterm elections, Republicans find themselves ahead of Democrats on both a generic ballot and specific issues. Republicans have a six point lead against Democrats overall (49 percent to 43 percent with those leaning left or right, 46 percent to 40 percent without) and a five point lead who voters would like most to see takeover the Senate (47 percent to 42 percent). Independents sided with the GOP by a full 30 points over Democrats (57 percent to 27 percent).
When it came to who voters trust to do a better job on the economy, foreign policy, and terrorism, the picture is the same. On the topic of terrorism, the GOP holds an massive lead of 21 points over Democrats at 52 percent to 32 percent and then advantages of 9 and 11 percentage points on the economy and foreign policy, respectively.
For President Obama, voters are not giving him high remarks either. While CBS News congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes said Tuesday night that criticizing Obama on his handling of ISIS is “a tricky campaign issue” because he “does have a plan now,” voters are proving Cordes otherwise, as only 36 percent of voters said that he does have a plan, while 56 percent still say that he doesn’t.
Also, a mere 36 percent of Americans approve of Obama’s handling of foreign policy while 56 percent disapprove. On how he has been handling ISIS and terrorism, 51 percent of Americans disapprove of the job he’s doing in both categories. Additionally, 52 percent of voters disapprove of his handling of the economy (53 percent approve).
In two final results, only 29 percent of Americans believe the country is currently moving in the right direction, while 65 percent believe the U.S. is on the wrong track. Regarding the state of the economy, 55 percent said that “it is in bad shape” with “[j]ust 29 percent” answering that “it is improving.”
