Five years of Obama futility.
Obama's America: the loss of good paying full time jobs, the loss of employer health care and American workers' difficulty in feeding themselves and their families.

The new face of food stamps: working-age Americans
In a first, working-age people now make up the majority in households that rely on food stamps.
That's a switch from a few years ago, when children and the elderly were the main recipients.
Some of the change is due to demographics, like the trend toward people having fewer children. But the slow economic recovery is also playing a role, with high unemployment, stagnant wages and an increasing gulf between low-wage and high-skill jobs.

Fox News Poll: As Obama starts sixth year, 74 percent say US still in recession
As President Obama starts his sixth year in office, his job ratings remain near record lows and more voters think his policies have hurt rather than helped the economy. And even as voters continue to hold mostly negative views on the economy and the direction of the country, a new Fox News poll finds they see some improvement.
A third of voters say they like both Obama and his policies -- a dramatic drop from 47 percent who felt that way in October 2012. In addition, 62 percent now say they dislike the president’s policies, up from 51 percent the month before his re-election.
Voters aren’t impressed with Obama’s economic policies: while 27 percent think they’ve helped, a 40-percent plurality says they’ve hurt the economy. And another 33 percent don’t think the president’s policies have made much difference either way.

Bush's Final Approval Rating: 22 Percent
President Bush will leave office as one of the most unpopular departing presidents in history, according to a new CBS News/New York Times poll showing Mr. Bush's final approval rating at 22 percent.
Seventy-three percent say they disapprove of the way Mr. Bush has handled his job as president over the last eight years.
Mr. Bush's final approval rating is the lowest final rating for an outgoing president since Gallup began asking about presidential approval more than 70 years ago.
The rating is far below the final ratings of recent two-term presidents Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan, who both ended their terms with a 68 percent approval rating, according to CBS News polling.

Toxic Obama and Obamacare, 100% the fault of the Democrat's.
Most voters don't appreciate working two part time jobs while losing employer provided healthcare coverage due to Obamacare.

Barack Obama’s lows could hurt Democrats in 5 states
Republicans need to pick up six seats to win the majority in the Senate, and Obama’s approval rating is below 35 percent in five states where Democrats are trying to defend seats.
In West Virginia, where Jay Rockefeller is retiring, 25 percent approved of Obama.
In South Dakota, where Tim Johnson is retiring, it was 32 percent.
In Montana, where Max Baucus plans to step down to become U.S. ambassador to China, it was 33 percent.
In Alaska, where Mark Begich is seeking a second term, it was 33.5 percent.
And in Arkansas, where Mark Pryor is facing a spirited challenge from Rep. Tom Cotton, it was 34.9 percent.

Sen. Blunt: Obama ‘has a lot of explaining to do’ in State of the Union speech
A top Senate Republican said Saturday that President Obama “has a lot of explaining to do” in his State of the Union speech about the weak economy and persistently high unemployment.
“This administration’s agenda to create more government, more spending, more taxes, and more debt has created an inequality crisis of opportunity in our country,” he said.“Those policies have been disproportionately hurtful to the poorest among us for the past five years.”
He said of the president’s upcoming speech,“If all he has to offer is more of the same, or if he refuses to acknowledge that his own policies have failed to work – the president is simply doing what many failed leaders have done before him: trying to set one group of Americans against another group of Americans. We don’t need more class warfare, and we don’t need more interference from Washington.”

Reconsider voter ID ruling, Corbett asks court
Once again the GOP wants to suppress voters rights.
Sorry Tom Corrupett NO 2nd term for you!! LMAO!
The Corbett administration Monday asked Commonwealth Court to reconsider its finding that the Pennsylvania voter ID law is unconstitutional.
Judge Bernard McGinley earlier this month found the 2012 law violates the state constitution by imposing an unreasonable burden on voters.
Gov. Tom Corbett's general counsel, James Schultz, said in a statement Monday that the administration disagrees with the ruling and that Mr. Corbett has always favored encouraging people to exercise their right to vote.

To Obama Haters: The Actual Evidence of Obama’s Achievements Shows You’re on the Wrong Side of History— Again
Senator Obama won scholarships to America’s top academic institutions, was voted by his peers to be editor of the Harvard Law Review, is a family man with an exemplary and obviously loving marriage, has a wife who is a brilliant charismatic woman, two lovely children, is a born-again Christian comfortable with his faith, has avoided making the fast buck in the new gilded age of greed when he could have, served his community, is thoughtful, considered in his opinions, slow to anger, proved right in his judgment about the Iraq war, the economy and just about everything else, looks at every side of a question before making a decision, and is not given to grandstanding let alone defending himself. That is who I voted for twice. That is who the president still is.
And now we come to the “healthcare reform debacle.” It is a “debacle” just as the economy was a debacle. In other words it isn’t. Check the stock market lately? Check the employment numbers lately? Check the wind-down of our wars lately? Check the whereabouts of bin Laden lately? Check the falling crime rates lately? Check the fact our deficit is dropping and that we are closer to energy self sufficiency than ever lately?
Turns out all the worst case forecasts about President Obama have been wrong. No, he hasn’t fixed everything. But, in spite of the racist, crazy Tea Party, the evangelical haters and the supercilious, know-it-all liberals who harass Obama, the president has done A LOT! President Obama remains the most intellectually and emotionally even-tempered and best equipped President we have had in the modern era. And even with the entire machinery of the Republican establishment and much of the media rooting for and egging on the “failure” of his Affordable Care Act, he will prevail.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not expert on health care reform. But given the actual record of achievement of this president I’m betting against the bigots and the know-it-all-pundits. Based on how all the other “disasters” and “failures” this president “created”– by not listening to Tea Party/evangelical bigots and white “liberal” commentators… I’m betting President Obama gets the Affordable Care Act website fixed, survives this current chapter of the slow-motion lynching that’s characterized his presidency, and wins this round too.
Today the president’s poll numbers are down. Thirty years from now the word “Obamacare” will be right up there with the other things we take for granted as the bedrock of our civil society. In President Obama we were given two extraordinary gifts; a great President and a national mirror. Looking into that mirror we just learned who we really are.

Expect to pay more at Pennsylvania gas pumps starting Wednesday, as the first wave of a series of tax hikes takes effect.
“Fuel companies will determine how much of the tax increase to pass on to consumers,” said PennDOT spokesman Richard Kirkpatrick.“If entirely passed on, the change would be about 9.5 cents a gallon.”
By early 2017, the new tax rate could add more than 25 cents a gallon, pushing Pennsylvania’s gas taxes higher than any current level in the nation, according to American Petroleum Institute figures.
Thanks Tom !

Fact Check on the Marcellus Shale Coalition and Governor Corrupbett.
A powerful special interest group is desperately trying to save Governor Corbett -- all because they want to continue avoiding taxes while shortchanging working Pennsylvanians.
It started with Big Oil & Gas companies giving Corbett's campaign more than $2 million, and it continued last week when the Marcellus Shale Coalition falsely attacked Tom Wolf while also attempting to mislead Pennsylvanians.
They're not telling the truth about what a severance tax would mean for investing in key Pennsylvania priorities like education, so we need you to help get the facts out there.
