The modern republican party has not been conservative in decades, they are now social darwinists of the Ayn Rand version. Naturally, they have a problem with the poor surviving.

“I was a very strident Democrat, but then I felt that the party was leaving me behind,” he said.

“Because they used to believe a lot of the same things that I believe in terms of personal responsibility and they seem to have left that behind and that’s where I had to part company because,

you know,

I think that when you take the downtrodden and you kind of pat them on the head and say,

’There, there you poor little thing, I’m going to give you this and this and this,’

I don’t think you’re doing them any favors.

I think you’re actually keeping them in that subservient position.

And I strongly disagree with that approach.”

Some education for Mutt/Dave/Roger the Racist:

----------

Meet The Moderator Behind CPAC’s Race Panel Gone Wrong

“Then I started reading about Douglass and my curiosity was ‘Why was he a Republican when Republicans are racist?’” he said.
...
Smith’s lectures focus almost entirely on how, during the Civil War and through the Jim Crow era, Democrats were the Southern party of white supremacy while Republicans, especially Abraham Lincoln, fought for progress instead.
...
Needless to say, the obvious question this raises is the one Brown was getting at: If Republicans are the party of Lincoln, then why did black voters overwhelmingly abandon them over the last 50 years?

And does it have anything to do with the reasons white southerners fled the Democratic Party in droves during the same period?

In other words, if the Confederacy’s spiritual descendants are Democrats, then why are their biological descendants voting Republican?

There’s not really a lot of mystery here for historians: Democrats, led by Presidents John Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson, championed civil rights legislation and integration, leaving an opening for the GOP, led by President Richard Nixon, to adopt a race-baiting strategy that drew in disaffected segregationists.

This is an uncontroversial enough take on events that the chairman of the RNC himself apologized on behalf of his party for Nixon’s “Southern strategy” at a 2005 speech to the NAACP.

He deserves four more years, and the American people deserve a far more constructive Congress to help solve their problems.

SECRET HISTORY REVEALED

KKK'S 1ST TARGETS WERE REPUBLICANS

Dems credited with starting group that attacked both blacks, whites

The original targets of the Ku Klux Klan were Republicans, both black and white, according to a new television program and book, which describe how the Democrats started the KKK and for decades harassed the GOP with lynchings and threats.

An estimated 3,446 blacks and 1,297 whites died at the end of KKK ropes from 1882 to 1964.

The documentation has been assembled by David Barton of Wallbuilders and published in his book

“Setting the Record Straight: American History in Black & White,” which reveals that not only did the Democrats work hand-in-glove with the Ku Klux Klan for generations, they started the KKK and endorsed its mayhem.

“Of all forms of violent intimidation, lynchings were by far the most effective,” Barton said in his book.

“Republicans often led the efforts to pass federal anti-lynching laws and their platforms consistently called for a ban on lynching. Democrats successfully blocked those bills and their platforms never did condemn lynchings.”

Democrats have been running our inner-cities for the past 30 to 40 years, and blacks are still complaining about the same problems.

More than $7 trillion dollars have been spent on poverty programs since Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty with little, if any, impact on poverty.

Diabolically, every election cycle, Democrats blame Republicans for the deplorable conditions in the inner-cities, then incite blacks to cast a protest vote against Republicans.

In order to break the Democrats’ stranglehold on the black vote and free black Americans from the Democrat Party’s economic plantation, we must shed the light of truth on the Democrats.

We must demonstrate that the Democrat Party policies of socialism and dependency on government handouts offer the pathway to poverty, while Republican Party principles of hard work, personal responsibility, getting a good education and ownership of homes and small businesses offer the pathway to prosperity.

Obama is not FDR.

He conveys no vision or hope.

Only class warfare.

He has zero plan to improve the economy other than to demagogue anybody who isn’t a member of a public employee union.

Obama has no message other than to vilify the opposition.

He guarantees 4 more years of stagnant, absentee government and a moribund economy.

Obama's White House jobs council fraud

By Ed Rogers

The president can't manage his own White House jobs council.

The community organizer who never had to account for how well the community was organized can't even manage his own creation.

The story of the President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness is a perfect metaphor for the president's hostile view of the private sector and how it can create and supply jobs for Americans.

70% of Highest-Paid Obama White House Staffers Are Men

( CNSNews.com )– Seventy-percent of the White House staffers who made the top annual salary of $172,200 in 2012 were men and 30 percent were women, according to a White House report on staff compensation.

In addition, men on the White House staff are paid, on average,$86,260.89 and women are paid, on average,$76,162.65.

That means the average man on the White House staff is paid about $10,098--about 13 percent--more than the average woman.

In Obama's White House, women on average earn only 88.3 percent of what the men earn.

..........

President Obama signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act to help women fight back against pay discrimination.

He understands that when women are paid less than men for the same work, it hurts the entire family.
