You have a right to participate in the marketplace of ideas but you don't have any right to get the outcomes you want.

If rather than try to sway others to accept your ideas you prefer instead to be a dick who turns people off, don't blame us for your ideas not gaining acceptance.

The lottery offers an absolute guarantee that you will lose (on average) 50 cents out of every dollar that you contribute.
The stock market (on average) will offer an 8% annual return just by investing in a low-cost index fund.
That's why investors become wealthy and lottery players remain poor.
This only holds because you claim some average--probably different now than from the time you posted it--as if people should care about it.

Tell me one person who plays the lottery or is in the market who hopes the outcome will be that EVERYONE makes the average. IOW your so called average applies to nobody except nerdisticians not in the game.

Prove all investors become wealthy or all lottery players are poor.

<quoted text>As Pennsylvania’s attorney general, he investigated Sandusky for nearly two years but failed to make an arrest. But then, as governor, he blamed the university’s leaders for not doing more. A passionate defender of children who had opened a sexual predators unit in his office, Corbett had aggressively pursued such prosecutions during his career. But this time, he assigned just one investigator to the Sandusky case, say lawyers with knowledge of the arrangement, although Corbett has denied this through his spokesman. At the time, he had 14 investigators looking into the activities of Pennsylvania House Speaker Bill DeWeese, a Democrat, who was accused of having staff members use state resources for his campaign. DeWeese was convicted last February of five counts of theft, conflict of interest and criminal conspiracy. State campaign records show he accepted contributions of nearly $650,000 from current and past board members of Second Mile [Sandusky's "Charity"] and their businesses.
As governor, why did Corbett personally approve a $3 million taxpayer-funded grant to Sandusky’s Second Mile charity, given his knowledge that Sandusky was under investigation for multiple child rapes?
Sandusky had been previously investigated by the Center County District attorney, who decided not to bring charges. The thoroughness of the investigation started by Corbett resulted in a conviction.

Politicians of both parties were investigated and convicted under Corbett's direction. Corruption by elected officials is a serious crime, more important in the larger scheme of things than one highly publicized sexual predator.

Corbett approved the grant to the Second Mile charity only after Sandusky had severed all ties with the group. The actual grant was never made.

Anybody who stays in the market long enough in broad-based investments will be successful.

The only way to come out ahead in the lottery (or in any gambling) is to make a quick hit and then to quit permanently. The longer and the more one gambles, the more certain that one will lose.

If you spend $1000 on lottery, on average you will win $500. Spend that $500 and you will win $250. Spend that $250 and you will win $125, Spend that $125 and you will win $62.50. Spend that $62,50 and you will win $31.25. Spend that $31.25 and you will win $15.63. Spend that $15.63 and you will win $7.82.

So play the lottery every day for a week and you can turn $1000 into $7.82. Congratulations, sucker.

Tricky. So you mean as long as you stay in long enough--long enough for the market to come up if it's down--you'll be fine.

That's like saying you'll come out ahead by putting your cash under your mattress--as long as you don't factor in the effects of inflation.

Corbett needs to be investigated. The neocons would be going nuts if Obama was involved in this matter.

Don't bother me right now.

I'm still in mourning over the departure of our spiritual leader Sarah Palin from our unbiased juice source Fox News.

She must have seen Russia from the Fox Studio too.
There were Ruskies pouring into Alaska from over there and she felt that her homeland needed her more than we Tea Partiers did...

Oh well, we always have Jim DeMint....he's pretty cool. Old Jimmy can save our sorry asses now.

What's theoretical is that you can predict chance. If it's predictable it's not chance.

If you flip a coin to be heads a million times in a row, what's the "chance" that it will be heads on the next flip? 50-50. Or IOW the millionth and first coin flip can't be predicted...same as all the previous ones.

Gobble, gobble, gobble,

Oh yes... its me again...how do you like my turkey imptrssions...

Oh whoa is me...my lovely Sarah is gone now....

Who now is going to step up to bat to debunk "global warming" or as they now call it "climate. Change"hahahahah

You see we Tea Baggin Patriots need shit dumbed down for us before we can comprehend what's going on. We prefer everythinjg be abbreviated to a bullit point kinda like what our wizard Jim DeMint will be doing at the pablum factory think tank soon.

See Sarah had that uniqe ability, I thik she was born with it....what ability you ask? I'm talking about the ability to "dumb things down" for me and my colleagues.

Like global warming for years 98 %....yes 98% of scientist, physisits, chemists ,biologists, etc, so on and so forth....well they have understood what happens to the excessive CO molucule from auto and factory emmissions. Thetve been scaring people with this convoluted fairy tale for years now.
Hahhahahah they came up with this outrageous idea that the.O molecule hooks up with the O2 to form O3 or what they called Ozone or some shit like that....
What ridiculous non sense...and this accumulates in the upper atmosphere to cause a type of "greenhouse" effect...boy what a load.

That's why I miss my lovely Sarah Palin...she was so reasuring that there's no such things as that to cause "clikmate change" that's going on now...the weather is pretty bad..our house blew down last year....and that ridiculus story about a storm hitting New Jersey and New York. Those places I read about in grade school that are full of evil little elves that want the government to take care of them ...that's all.
And what will I do now...my Sarah is gone the purveyor of truth and harmony.is out at the juice factory...and I'm feeling quite blue right now...

Who's going to step up and tell me the truth? The liberal media sure enough isn't...they can only come up with cockamanie fairy tales about "climate change" and such...

I want my Sarah Palin back.....Fox news is a traitor to our cause. I still have the most honorable Sean Hannity...I hope they don't kick that asshole off too or id be really disapointed.

I'm a loser and I know it quite well. I'm just on here to try to aggravate liberals and spend out the rest of my days until I have a heart attck from drinking to much booze. I am actually pretty well to do financially due to the SSI government handout I'm milking and some Vanguard REIT funds that I have money invested in. I take about 1/3 of my SSI money...I'm disabled that's why I have time to post on here about 18 of every 24 hours a day, seven friggin days a year...

But don't let them know...or they'll yank my stash...those fed bastard goverment commies will come get my money.....but I will show them...hahahha don't worry about that...I'm such a loser...

Politicians are not scientists, and they are not motivated by the search for scientific truth.
Most Democratic politicians want to raise taxes, redistribute wealth, and regulate industry because doing so increases their power and chances for reelection.
Global Warming rules and regulations afford them the opportunity to do so.
//////////
1–The inverse relationship between cosmic ray flux on cloud formation and variation in solar wind –explain a great deal on yearly and decadal time scales.
2 — Over $100 billion has been portioned out by Nat Science foundation, NASA, NOAA, etc over past 20 years to support AGHW theory.
Hundreds of academic “scientists” in dozens of Atmospheric Science and Environmental Engineering departments owe their living to these grants.
40 years ago there was no such “stand alone” discipline.
AGHW at this point has little to do with science
–it’s all money and politics at this point.
