Romney’s Transition Chief Is Encouraging States To Implement Obamacare
A little more than a week after Mitt Romney lost his bid for the presidency, the prominent Republican tapped to head his transition is encouraging states to implement the Affordable Care Act, a law which Romney had pledged to eliminate on “day one” during the 2012 campaign.

Former Utah Gov. Mike Leavitt — who also served as Health and Human Services Secretary under President George W. Bush — had been helping states establish the law’s exchanges through his firm Leavitt Partners before being tapped for the high-profile transition job. And now, as Republican governors decide how to move forward with the law in the face of a second Obama term, Leavitt is “working to get states to create their own exchanges”— the new marketplaces that will connect consumers with insurance coverage by 2014. States have the option of establishing and administrating their own systems or outsourcing the task to the federal government.

The Republican Party needs to represent all Americans . The problems of America are not the gays, lefties, labor unions or persons of color. The problem is the small interest groups the Republican Party represent. The so called corporate individuals are undermining our democracy and selling it to the highest bidders. The corporations are also selling our economy, demanding less regulation, low wages, exporting our work for the sake of greed. The republicans are also promoting job export for the job creators to arm our enemy China.
The poor whites are also helping them sell America by moralizing politics, anti abortion, anti gay, anti persons of color, anti organized labor and living on welfare.

such an intelligent response and still angry, i see, and clueless.

good thing obama was re elected, you can still collect your welfare and food stamps and continue to be a burden on society. try getting a job, you might have some self respect about yourself and then not be so angry.

Romney lost to democracy enhanced by technology.

When information is at peoples finger tips, the candidate with facts wins. Before, when you heard the radio talk shows spewing out "the bigger the government, the smaller the citizen" or Fox News shouting "raising taxes kills jobs and kills economy", it was not easy to verify if these claims were true. Driving to a library to dig historical facts about it? Most people would not.

But now, when you hear those claims, you can google info on it, you found: since WW2 and untill 1970s, Government was much bigger and union was much stronger and tax rate on wealthy people was the highest in history, and yet during that period, America had the fast economic growth, lowest unemployment, fastest rise of living standard. After the 1970s, with deregulation and lowering taxes and massive shutdown of union, the economy started to decline and unemployment started to rise, middle class started to shrink. People lost their purchasing power with real earnings but resort to debt to keep consumption, finally we got to the big economic recession...

You can't believe what you found was exact of the opposite of what you hear on the radio so you check and check from different sources and verify and verify and verify and finally you knew what you found was true.

Then came the election. Who would you vote for? The answer is obvious.

Why most young people vote for Obama? Answer: They are the least gullible. They are information savvy and they believe science and facts. A typical representative of these voters: Nate Silver. who trusts his data and his algorithm and no amount of pundits talk on Fox News can shake him.

Why most old people vote for Romney? For one, aren't they the usual target by the fraud predators? For another, they have been brainwashed by Fox News for too long and simply lost the ability to appreciate new evidence and facts. Their typical representative: Karl Rove. Boy he amazed (or should I say amused) the world when trying to debate Fox News when Obama was announced Ohio winner.

Yeah, capitalism at work...what hourly rate do restauranteers actually have to pay their employees....
This is the only industry that doesn't have to pay its employee's a decent living wage...
So this forces us consumers to have to pay their salaries along with the price of the food itself...
I say make them pay their employees properly and we can still decide

So Romney says O won by offering "gifts" to blacks and Latinos. His gift was to offer Netanyahu a FREE war on Iran complete with unlimited US blood, and treasure. As a bonus he offered to pay US taxpayer money for the clean up. What a guy! He would have us carpet bombing Gaza and offering our dear ally more endless US money and weapons. Good grief, thank God he is off at one of his homes permanently.

Socialism will usher in a new era in this county.

The great wealth of the United States will for the first time be for the benefit of all the people.

Foreign policy will be based on mutual respect, peace, and solidarity.

The people’s democratic rights will be guaranteed and expanded.

Racial, gender, and social equality will be the basis of domestic policies and practices.

Socialism is not a dream, but a necessity to working peoples lives.

Only socialism has the solutions to the problems of capitalism in this country.

Romney didn't appear to know who he was appealing to. Look at the majority of who voted for him: poor under-educated rural conservatives. Mitt and Paul couldn't even win their home states. And Romney lost in all three states where he has homes!!!!! He needs to move to Alabama. Maybe he can win sheriff in some rural county

Your socialism claim is a pure false claim and every voting block knows this except yours( racial hating tea bags) president Obama went against his liberal base by not fully advocating for single payer health care which happens to be socialism. President Obama is not trying to please haters or dumb ass clowns which your ignorance will bend over backwards daily to represent. You did more to make Obama president then you realize

A Red Herring is a fallacy in which an irrelevant topic is presented in order to divert attention from the original issue.
.
.

The basic idea is to "win" an argument by leading attention away from the argument and to another topic.
.
.

This sort of "reasoning" has the following form:
.
.

Topic A is under discussion...

****..OBAMA..****

A DO NOTHING, LEAD FROM BEHIND, FOUR YEAR FAILURE.

.
.
.

Topic B is introduced under the guise of being relevant to topic A

(pick one)

1. Fluke…………..WAR ON WOMEN / CLASS WARFARE

2. Martin.………..WAR ON BLACKS / GUNS / CLASS WARFARE

3. Buffett Rule…. WAR ON MILLIONAIRES / CLASS WARFARE

4. Romney Dog..WAR ON PET OWNERS / INCITE PETA

5. Osama bin Laden..WAR HERO OBAMA / COURAGE ABOVE ANY MORTAL

6. GLBT…….SHAKE DOWN THE GAYS FOR CASH / DEFLECT CONVERSATION FROM ECONOMY

7. Romney Bain Capital….. WAR ON FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM /OBAMA BAILOUTS CREATE JOBS

8.Romney Taxes…. WAR ON MILLIONAIRES / CLASS WARFARE

(when topic B is actually not relevant to topic A).
.
.

Topic A is abandoned.
.
.

This sort of "reasoning" is fallacious because merely changing the

topic of discussion hardly counts as an argument against a claim.

..........

Topic A

oBUMMER a four year failure
