Winning re-election has failed to quiet scandals surrounding Rep. Scott DesJarlais.

Court transcripts from his 2001 divorce trial obtained by the Chattanooga Times Free Press and reported on Thursday revealed that the Tennessee Republican tea partyer, a former physician, had admitted to sexual relationships with patients and supported his wife's abortions.

DesJarlais reportedly also admitted to having affairs with co-workers and a drug representative while serving as chief of staff at Grandview Medical Center in Jasper, Tenn. "During one affair with a female patient, DesJarlais prescribed her drugs, gave her an $875 watch and bought her a plane ticket to Las Vegas, records show," the newspaper wrote.

DesJarlais also reportedly supported his wife's two abortions before they were married, one of which occurred while she was on medication that carried risks.

Obama owns this.

Obamacare costs, Lies or just plain stupid? Solid proof you don't elect a community organizer to run a country. If Obama was hired to run a business he would of lost his job in one day. Then no business would of hired him in the first place....not qualified.

ObamaCare Still Not Saving $2,500 On Premiums, Mercer Survey Shows

Remember President Obama's promise that his health care plan would reduce premiums by $2,500?
Well, for some reason that we are at a loss to explain, that just isn't working out. Indeed, to Capital Hill's immense shock and surprise, premiums are actually rising, despite the fact that ObamaCare now forces insurance companies to (1) let kids up to age 26 onto their parents insurance policies,(2) cover "preventive" services such as birth control without a co-pay, and (3) pay rebates if they violate ObamaCare's medical-loss-ratio standards. Why on earth would insurance premiums be going up?
Alas, they are. The latest National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans from consulting firm Mercer found that employer-based plans cost an average of $10,558 in 2012, up 4.1% from 2011. Employers expect that, on average, premium costs will rise another 5% in 2013, bring the average cost of employer-base coverage to about $11,085.
Back in 2009, the year before Obama was passed, Mercer's survey found that the average cost of such coverage was $8,945. That means that going into 2013, premiums will have risen about $2,140.
Nevertheless, Capital Hill still retain some hope that the $2,500 savings will materialize.(Although we doubt that the 3,000% savings ever will.)

Ever since LBJ declared a war on poverty the parasites in the U.S. have been consuming the host. Well, parasites, the host is finally fighting back. You made your mistake when you chose the side of the socialist instead of the capitalist. Your mistake was the failure to recognize the fact that socialism only works until you run out of other peoples money.

"The black racists, morons and the lazy worthless people who refuse to work, choosing to have working people pay their way, voted the black socialist back into office. These people are to blame for what restaurant owners are being forced to do. Yes, you and Obama own this. You built the road to bankruptcy, layoffs, reduced hours, loss of benefits, and the Obamacare 5 percent surcharge to all sales.
You think you're going to be better off these next for years? Think again my sheeples! You keep living in denial, but soon reality is going to slap you in your face. You own it so don't come crying asking for more help. Your well is going dry."
i wonder if the democrats will continue to blame bush for obamas past 4 years? things are already starting to collapse, stock market is down, over 400,000 new unemployed applicants and thats not even all the states, its going to continue to get worse and obama and the democrats will own it. i f those that voted for obama lose their jobs, guess what? i don't care and they will lose their jobs. obama is already cutting back on food stamps and welfare checks. he bought the fools and thats how he thanks them. fools!

Florida Denny's, Dairy Queens Putting 'Obamacare Surcharge' on Bill

Thursday, 15 Nov 2012 10:39 AM

By Bill Hoffman

Financial fallout from Obamacare will spur dozens of eateries in South Florida to tack a five-percent surcharge onto all meals, one restaurant mogul says.

John Metz — who runs 40 Denny's and Dairy Queens and owns the Hurricane Grill & Wings franchise — says his business will be hit hard by the January 2014 start of President Barack Obama’s healthcare mandate.

And his only alternative is,“I’ve got to pass on the cost to the customer,’’ he told the Huffington Post.

When patrons see they have to cough up a five-percent surcharge, one possibility is they could end up reducing the amount of the tip they leave for their server.

In addition, Metz will reduce the hours of his employees.

If Papa John was so worried about the supposed cost of Obamacare on his pizza chain, here's an idea, maybe he shouldn't be giving away a million of his shitty pizzas for free. He claims Obamacare will cost his company, what, about $8 million? Seems like chump change for a company that size, especially for the cause. God forbid your employees have health insurance. What a douche. His mansion is probably worth that amount many times over. Here's a novel idea, if money is such a concern maybe you shouldn't be giving away a million free pizzas (if you can even call that crap pizza).

LOL!

Hard to believe there are still people who actually believe that myth.

The CRA did not cause the banking crisis.

No legitimate analysis of the crash comes to that conclusion.

//////////

In the 1980s, groups such as the activists at ACORN began pushing charges of "redlining" - claims that banks discriminated against minorities in mortgage lending.

In 1989, sympathetic members of Congress got the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act amended to force banks to collect racial data on mortgage applicants;

this allowed various studies to be ginned up that seemed to validate the original accusation.

In fact, minority mortgage applications were rejected more frequently than other applications - but the overwhelming reason wasn't racial discrimination, but simply that minorities tend to have weaker finances.

Yet a "landmark" 1992 study from the Boston Fed concluded that mortgage-lending discrimination was systemic.

That study was tremendously flawed - a colleague and I later showed that the data it had used contained thousands of egregious typos, such as loans with negative interest rates.

Our study found no evidence of discrimination.

Yet the political agenda triumphed - with the president of the Boston Fed saying no new studies were needed, and the US comptroller of the currency seconding the motion.

No sooner had the ink dried on its discrimination study than the
Boston Fed, clearly speaking for the entire Fed, produced a manual for mortgage lenders stating that:

"discrimination may be observed when a lender's underwriting policies contain arbitrary or outdated criteria that effectively disqualify many urban or lower-income minority applicants."

Some of these "outdated" criteria included the size of the mortgage payment relative to income,

credit history,

savings history and income verification.

Instead, the Boston Fed ruled that participation in a credit-counseling program should be taken as evidence of an applicant's ability to manage debt.

Sound crazy?

You bet.

Those "outdated" standards existed to limit defaults.

But bank regulators required the loosened underwriting standards, with approval by politicians and the chattering class.

A 1995 strengthening of the Community Reinvestment Act required banks to find ways to provide mortgages to their poorer communities.

It also let community activists intervene at yearly bank reviews, shaking the banks down for large pots of money.

Banks that got poor reviews were punished; some saw their merger plans frustrated; others faced direct legal challenges by the Justice Department.

Under the Affordable Care Act, small business owners who cover a portion of the premium for their employees' health insurance will get a tax credit for up to 50% of that cost.

So my costs for healthcare are going to drop.

The ACA is a GOOD thing.
