By every objective measure - every one!- the US economy is better off than when Obama took office....

Four years ago, the economy was shrinking; now it's growing.

Four years ago, the economy was hemorrhaging jobs; now it's gaining jobs.

Four years ago, the unemployment rate was going up; now it's going down.

Four years ago, the stock market was crashing; now it's reaching new heights.

Four years ago, the deficit was getting bigger; now it's getting smaller.

Four years ago, the American auto industry was on the verge of collapse; now it's thriving.

Hell yes there's a record for Obama to run on.

More record to run on ...

Retail sales even stronger than predicted...

----------

Retail sales point to stronger economic growth

(Reuters)- Retail sales rose in September as Americans stepped up purchases of everything from cars to electronics, a sign that consumer spending is driving faster economic growth.

Other U.S. data on Monday pointed to an economy feeling the effects of cooling global growth, with New York state factory activity shrinking in October.

But consumer spending remains the U.S. economy's biggest engine, and expectations for third-quarter economic growth improved after the Commerce Department reported a 1.1 percent increase in retail sales during September.

The reading, which beat analysts' forecasts, builds on other signs of growing economic momentum, including a drop in the jobless rate last month and a rise in consumer confidence.

"The news flow on the U.S. economy keeps getting better," said Chris Williamson, an economist at Markit in London.

More record to run on ...

Industrial production numbers higher than predicted...

----------

Industrial Production Rises 0.4 Percent in September

The 0.4 percent increase in September industrial production is nothing to get too excited about, but it is above expectations and I think it undermines a narrative that's been gaining force over the past several weeks about a divergence between the household sector (strong retail sales and consumer confidence numbers) and the corporate sector (weak business confidence numbers). What we see here is that on the ultimate production side indicator things are growing, just like retail sales are growing.

More record to run on ...

Consumer confidence is at a five year high...

----------

Confident consumers give retail sales a lift

WASHINGTON - Americans spent more money at retailers in September - a buying surge that reflected growing consumer confidence and the launch of the latest iPhone.

Retail sales jumped 1.1 percent last month, producing the best two months of sales in two years, according to figures released Monday by the Commerce Department.
...
The University of Michigan's survey of consumer sentiment released Friday showed a reading of 83.1 for October.

That's up from 78.3 in September and the highest level since September 2007 - three months before the start of the Great Recession.

US budget deficit at four year low ...

----------

U.S. budget deficit shrinks by over $200 billion, reaches 4-year low

Obama inherited a deficit of nearly $1.3 trillion from Bush/Cheney the moment he took the oath of office.

This year, however, according to the official data published by the Treasury Department, the deficit was $1.089 trillion.

Initial jobless claims at four year low...

----------

Jobless claims fall to four-year low

NEW YORK (CNNMoney)-- Claims for unemployment benefits fell sharply last week to their lowest level in more than four years, but the drop was due mostly to a technical issue.

About 339,000 people filed for first-time unemployment benefits in the week ended October 6, down 30,000 from the previous week, the Labor Department said Thursday.

That's a dramatic drop in just one week and represents the lowest level of initial claim filings since February 2008.

Overall unemployment at a four year low...

----------

U.S. jobless rate tumbles to near four-year low

(Reuters)- The U.S. unemployment rate unexpectedly dropped to 7.8 percent in September and reached its lowest level since President Barack Obama took office, providing a boost to his re-election bid.

The Labor Department said on Friday that employers added 114,000 workers to their payrolls last month, a moderate number, but it said a combined 86,000 more jobs were created in the prior two months than it had previously thought.

Other aspects of the report also were strong. In particular, a separate survey of households found a big surge in hiring. That pushed the jobless rate down by 0.3 percentage point to its lowest level since January 2009.

"If Romney wins Ohio", danny BOY???

That's not possible, is it BOY, because all the POLLS say Obama is going to win Ohio!

Why are you wasting your time contemplating an impossibility?

It sounds like you need to keep repeating your Stuart Smalley Daily Affirmation for Obama, BOY:

Multiple sources have documented, fact-checked and proven the vast number of Romney's bald-faced lies. I've provided several sources.

The mindless wingnut drones, with their obsessive Freudian projection, make the same claims about Obama but can't back them up. Hell, they don't even TRY!

It'll be all over but the crying by Wednesday and I'll be here to dry Ted the Pathological Liar's bitter, bitter tears then.

Good spin, danny BOY!

The percentage of Americans underemployed or unemployed under Obama's four year failed presidency has NEVER been HIGHER!

You'd say of a flood receding to a home's first floor after covering the second as "Overall flooding at a four year low..."

Steve Benen has meticulously chronicled 917 of Mitt Romney's bald-faced lies over the past 41 weeks.

The latest 33 of them and the complete archive are here:
http://maddowblog.msnbc.com/_news/2012/11/02/...

Every lie is fully sourced and documented.

And not a single wingnut here will even TRY to refute a single one of them.

Why?

Because the truth is irrefutable.

Bush set the house on fire.

Obama put the fire out.

Then Repubtards like this lying jackass blame Obama for the damage.

- OR -

Bush's neglect allowed the dam to break.

Obama stopped the flooding and brought the water level down.

The Repubtards like this lying jackass blame Obama for how high the water got.

No matter how you look at it, any honest assessment of actual history shows these asinine attacks to be nothing but bullshit and lies.

!LOL!

You are absolutely shameless in your spin, danny BOY!

Ooops. You forgot to mention that "deficit at four year low" means spending 1.1 TRILLION dollars MORE than the nation has.

After spending money you don't have by charging $1500 on your credit card in May,$1400 more you don't have in June and $1300 you don't have in July, you'd describe charging $1200 you don't have in August as "deficit shrinks by over $100, reaches 4-month low."

LMAO!

Obama has ADDED FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS to the national debt in four years, BOY, and you now claim that's some sort of IMPROVEMENT???

You mirror the Obama's dishonesty in presenting such fiscal irresponsibility as some sort of 'improvement'.

This is, of course, a total lie.

Bush's Recession caused a peak of 10% official unemployment rate in October 2009, and Obama's policies have reduced that to 7.9%.

Bush's Recession caused a peak of 17.2% U6 unemployment rate in October 2009, and Obama's policies have reduced that to 14.6%.

There is no honest way to make the statement that, "The percentage of Americans underemployed or unemployed has NEVER been HIGHER!" It is a bald-faced LIE.

OMG danny BOY!

You're still trying to blame Obama's epic failed four year presidency on BUSH??

We understand, BOY. That's all Obama has left in the tank after four years of his OWN ineptitude in reducing unemployment and creating jobs for the 23 MILLION unemployed and underemployed, long suffering Americans.

But thanks for trotting it out again for a good laugh.

"It's Bush's fault!" says danny BOY after 1400 days of Obama's 'leadership'.

I know it hurts to read, BOY, but Obama has made Bush look like a Mensa member.

LMAO!
