New Batch of Polls Welcome News for Obama

A new batch of polls released yesterday (see below for the numbers) spells good news for President Obama. With Obama leading in Wisconsin by 5-8 points, it looks like Paul Ryan has failed to do the running mate's main job: bring in your home state. In Ohio, four new polls show Obama leading by an average of 3.8%. Obama is also leading in Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania. Two of the three polls put him ahead in Virginia and he is essentially tied in Florida and Colorado. It appears that Romney's post-debate momentum has now stopped, If the current numbers continue to hold over the weekend, the popular vote could be close but Obama is likely to win the electoral college because he needs to win only a few of the big swing states whereas Romney needs to win them all.

Poll: Obama Doing a Good Job Dealing with the Storm
About 80% of likely voters say that President Obama is doing a good or excellent job of dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Even 2/3 of those voters who support Mitt Romney give Obama credit for doing a fine job. These results are from the latest WaPo/ABC poll. The poll, held nationwide, shows that 18% of all likely voters have already voted, rising to 23% in the swing states.

Obama up in Wisconsin 48%-42% Ryan no help to Mutt.

Romney loses 3 % pts over a 2 week span in Florida..now tied at 48%

Michigan goes to Obama 48%-42%

Obama up in Ohio 48%- 44%

Obama up in Minnesota 49%-44%

Obama up in Virginia 47%-45%

Obama up in Iowa 50%-46

Do Democrats Own The Terms 'Racism" and "Lying"?

.
.
.

Democrats have run a number on Republicans.

They have skillfully captured certain words in the American lexicon and redefined them, applying Democrat-themed meanings for the specific purpose of cowing Republicans into silence and submission.

I have watched the escalation of this vocabulary abuse for almost a decade, and I am sorry to say, this particular Democrat scheme is working.

Republicans seem afraid to speak the unvarnished truth about Democrat party leaders for fear of reprisals in the mainstream media, an organization that has repeatedly proved that it is indisputably in the tank for Barack Obama.

What are Republicans afraid to say?

Republicans seem afraid to say that Barack Obama,

44th president of the United States,

seems to be a racist and a liar whose clumsy,

inexperienced efforts at leadership have put our nation’s economy and our citizens’ safety in jeopardy and has proven incompetent and unfit for office.

There's still time to meet Barack and get two of the best seats in the house on Election Night.

If you make a donation today, you'll be automatically entered to join us in Chicago for his big speech.

You'll be right in the middle of all the action on Election Night, and if Barack wins, you'll know you played an important part in making that happen and moving our country forward.

We'll fly you and a guest to Chicago, put you up in a hotel, and make sure you're right up front when Barack gives his speech.

What he'll say that night depends entirely on what we do right now.

BREAKING NEWS!

Nevada’s Biggest Paper: Obama 'Unworthy Commander-in-Chief' After Benghazi

Nevada’s largest newspaper blasted President Barack Obama in a blistering editorial on Thursday about the Benghazi attacks in which four Americans died, calling him an “unworthy commander-in-chief.”

Obama, who holds a small lead in Nevada, which has six electoral votes, was taken to task by the Las Vegas Review-Journal for his handling of the Benghazi, Libya attacks in an editorial headlined,“Benghazi blunder: Obama unworthy commander-in-chief.”

“The Obama administration sat by doing nothing for seven hours that night, ignoring calls to dispatch help from our bases in Italy, less than two hours away,” the editorial said.“It has spent the past seven weeks stretching the story out, engaging in misdirection and deception involving supposed indigenous outrage over an obscure anti-Muslim video, confident that with the aid of a docile press corps this infamous climax to four years of misguided foreign policy can be swept under the rug, at least until after Tuesday's election.”

The paper went on to lay out the precursors to the attack, including the embassy cable expressing concern over rising Islamic extremism in Benghazi, the drawdown of a security force, and the denied request from Ambassador Chris Stevens, who was killed in the attack, for more body guards.

Even as a Pentagon drone aired a live feed of the attack, the paper wrote,“Not only did the White House do nothing, there are now reports that a counterterrorism team ready to launch a rescue mission was ordered to stand down.”

“The official explanation for the inadequate security? This administration didn't want to ‘offend the sensibilities’ of the new radical Islamic regime which American and British arms had so recently helped install in Libya,” the Review-Journal editorial said.

“The official explanation for why Obama administration officials watched the attack unfold for seven hours, refusing repeated requests to send the air support and relief forces that sat less than two hours away in Italy? Silence.”

It continued,“Prompt and strong action from the White House on Sept. 11 might have saved American lives, as well as America's reputation as a nation not to be messed with. Weakness and dithering and flying to Las Vegas the next day for celebrity fund-raising parties are somehow better? This administration is an embarrassment on foreign policy and incompetent at best on the economy - though a more careful analysis shows what can only be a perverse and willful attempt to destroy our prosperity.”

Liberals will stoop as low as they can to help Obama win his hopeless candidacy.

Be prepared, for when Romney is declared the winner we will be having race riots throughout America, Many black groups and black individuals have made this threat over and over and I think they are dead serious. Martial Law? Presidential Executive Orders from Obama? constitution suspended? Congress suspended?

Woman Blocked From Voting Over 'Bible' T-Shirt

CBN: A woman was blocked from early voting near Austin, Texas, last week after wearing a T-shirt that said "Vote the Bible." A pro-family group called Texas Values said election workers told resisdent Kay Hill at the Taylor City Hall polling place in Williamson County her shirt was quote "offensive." She was told to turn the shirt inside out, go home and change, or cover up the words "Vote the Bible." Hill tried to disagree but was eventually forced to cover up her Bible message. Poll workers reportedly provided a jacket for her to wear over the shirt.

"It's outrageous that a person of faith would be mistreated this way while trying to vote," Jonathan Saenz, president of Texas Values, said. "If this isn't voter intimidation, I don't know what is." In a press release Saenz said, "No one else should have to suffer the humiliation, embarrassment and intimidation that Ms. Hill endured. No one should be asked to give up their religious freedom in order to vote."

Oh boy. The Christian persecution complex again.

Still, doesn't that mean she went with Obama? People conveniently forget that Jesus was a balls-to-the-wall socialist in his teachings. If anything he makes the president look pretty half-hearted in his helping the poor.

...Honestly, can someone explain to me the actual Biblical values that Romney has over Obama? I thought greed was a sin? You know, that whole "eye of a needle" sermon.

danny BOY, you do realize, don't you, that it's the ELECTION next Tuesday that determines the winner and not the polls you like to quote.
You've endlessly claimed Obama's reelection is "INEVITABLE" so why the torrent of poll posting from you? It seems you're trying to convince YOURSELF that Obama can't lose.
Uh oh.
Of course endlessly posting 'polling' results NOW may be your last opportunity for chest thumping before joining the predictable chorus whining and screaming that the Republicans 'stole the election.'
LOL
Would you prefer he post his opinion without evidence to back it up? that would make him like a Republican.

As of November 1 , 2012 Obama has 252 Electoral votes locked in..........many many ways to reach 270..........Mutt has to run the table and most likely need Ohio to do it.An almost impossible feat. It's too late in the election to do any more lying and spinning facts.

His plans to better the nation has lost all air and the voters will let him know come November 6, 2012.

Romney is a selfish, greedy, stuck up candidate that time caught up to him and his lies only went so far. Obama picked out a great Hallmark sympathy card for Mutt. Damn! So close and yet so far away fro Mutt, it was his time, the people owed him this, he deserved it,no one was going to deny him..........he just forgot about the voting poll which is the final answer.........
