You are one stupid lib!

.
.

are juicing the economy just like a government stimulus would.

.
.

In February, the Congressional Budget Office published its latest report on the "estimated impact" of the stimulus.

Although it had originally estimated the stimulus would cost $787 billion, CBO now says it will cost $831 billion.

In the second quarter of 2012, CBO estimates, somewhere between 200,000 to 1.2 million people have jobs they otherwise would not have were it not for the stimulus.

Assuming, optimistically, that the number is 1.2 million, that means each of those jobs cost taxpayers $692,500.

As time goes on, the maximum number of jobs sustained by Obama's stimulus will decline rapidly.

By the first quarter of 2013, it will sustain between 100,000 and 600,000 jobs, says CBO.

If it is 600,000, each of those jobs will have cost taxpayers $1,385,000.

By the fourth quarter of 2013, the maximum number of jobs it sustains will be 400,000 — at a cost to taxpayers of $2,077,500 per job.

It is true that Obama entered office in the midst of a deep recession.

But, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research, that recession ended in June 2009, almost three years ago.

New Batch of Polls Welcome News for Obama
A new batch of polls released yesterday (see below for the numbers) spells good news for President Obama. With Obama leading in Wisconsin by 5-8 points, it looks like Paul Ryan has failed to do the running mate's main job: bring in your home state. In Ohio, four new polls show Obama leading by an average of 3.8%. Obama is also leading in Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania. Two of the three polls put him ahead in Virginia and he is essentially tied in Florida and Colorado. It appears that Romney's post-debate momentum has now stopped, If the current numbers continue to hold over the weekend, the popular vote could be close but Obama is likely to win the electoral college because he needs to win only a few of the big swing states whereas Romney needs to win them all.

Poll: Obama Doing a Good Job Dealing with the Storm
About 80% of likely voters say that President Obama is doing a good or excellent job of dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Even 2/3 of those voters who support Mitt Romney give Obama credit for doing a fine job. These results are from the latest WaPo/ABC

The president and his minions do not apologize for high unemployment, trillion dollar deficits, or the sacking of a U.S. consulate and the murder of an ambassador and three of his co-workers.

They do not apologize for the most anemic recovery in more than 60 years, or for wasting billions of dollars of taxpayer money on bankrupt "green" energy projects.

Instead they run around saying how much worse this country would be without them and their high-minded ideas about "fairness" and "social justice."

Chrysler CEO Rebuts Romney on Jeeps
Mitt Romney is running an ad in Ohio saying that Chrysler is going to build a plant in China to manufacture Jeeps there and will ship jobs there. Now Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has refuted Romney and said that the Chinese plant will manufacture Jeeps for sale in China and not affect U.S. workers, much as Toyota manufactures cars in the U.S. for sale in the U.S. The odd thing about this flap is that is brings up the subject of the auto bailout again, something that helps Obama and hurts Romney. Even Republicans don't understand why Romney wants to put the topic back in the spotlight.

When desperation sets in, a candidate will say just about anything.....but why change your ways now?

Romney compares Sandy relief to cleaning up after high-school football game :

President Obama visited the Jersey shore Wednesday with Governor Chris Christie to get an up-close look at storm-damaged coastline. But a day earlier, Mitt Romney was already doing his part in Kettering, Ohio, at a campaign rally-turned fake disaster-relief event.

And to buff his own image as a disaster-relief specialist, Romney compared the Sandy relief effort to … his experience cleaning up the field after a high-school football game. Seriously.

I remember once we had a football field at my high school. The field was covered with rubbish and paper goods from people who’d had a big celebration there at the game. And there was a group of us there assigned to clean it up. And I thought,‘how are we going to clean up all the mess on this football field?’ There were just a few of us. And the person responsible for organizing the effort said,‘Just line up along the yard lines. You go between the goal line and the 10-yard line, and the next person between the 10 and 20, and just walk down and do your lane. And if everybody cleans their lanes, we’ll get it done.’ And so today, we’re cleaning one lane if you will.

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell wasn’t buying it. In his Rewrite segment on Wednesday’s edition of The Last Word, he did a play-by-play on what he called the Romney campaign’s “fake” storm relief event.

“Because the desperate and shameless Romney campaign believes it cannot win the election without winning Ohio, Team Romney pushed their candidate out on a stage in Ohio yesterday,” O’Donnell explained.“Because the storm was still in progress in some states and the death count was climbing in New York and elsewhere, traditional political decency dictated that Mitt Romney be not caught campaigning yesterday.”

Buzzfeed also reported Romney campaign staffers stocked up beforehand on $5,000-worth of canned foods and other essentials at a Wal-Mart the night before —“to put on display while they waited for donations to come in.”

O’Donnell suggested these measures are the result of an extreme situation less than one week before the election:“It’s hard out there for a presidential candidate who is utterly irrelevant to the massive relief effort President Obama is running in the aftermath of this week’s historic storm.”

On June 10, 2009, Chrysler LLC emerged from a government backed Chapter 11 reorganization as Chrysler Group LLC,

in alliance with the Italian automaker Fiat.[4][5]

Initially holding a 20% interest in Chrysler Group,

Fiat's stake was increased to 58.5%(fully diluted) following acquisition of the equity interests held by the U.S. Treasury (6% on June 3, 2011) and Canada (1.5% on July 21, 2011)[6][7][8][9][10]

.
.

The stake was further increased to 61.8% in July 2012.[11]

Funny how Republicans never care about debt or spending when Republicans are in office! Funny how Republicans never care that it was the Democrat Clinton who actually balanced the budget and got us a surplus and Bush and the Republicans who blew it! Funny how Republicans never care that Obama wants to institute the same policies as Clinton but the Republicans in Congress have refused to let him and Mittens wants to, along with his fellow Republicans, institute the same failed economic policies as Bush that blew our balanced budget plus 20% additional tax cuts.

Republicans are fools or dishonest. In my opinion it's both.

Mitt comes from a world of full-time housekeepers, butlers, chauffeurs, grounds-keepers and gardeners.

If one of his mansions were to be severely damaged in a storm, he would simply shift to one of his other homes or stay in a 5-star hotel while the repairs and clean up was carried out.

He really cannot relate to the overwhelming catastrophic impact this storm has had on families, communities, towns, and major metropolitan areas, nor does he appear to have a grasp on the limited resources available to local and state agencies to deal with devastation of this magnitude.
