Obama Continues to Surge in the National Polls
Eight national polls were published yesterday. In five of them, Obama is leading. In the other three he is tied. However, he was trailing in two of the tied polls from the same pollsters earlier, so he is gaining. In politics, a week is a long time, but a day isn't so long and Romney has only a day to stop Obama's momentum

One day away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.

If the most crucial presidential election of our lifetime could be defined, it would be called

‘The Free Stuff Election’.

There are some 1 million Ohioans out there with a free Obama cellphone.

Imagine the ‘Vote App’ text messages coming through on their Obama phones, and that’s just one state.

The omnipresent Obama team have worked the Free Stuff Crowd up to fever pitch as witnessed in the Ohio woman’s YouTube screed that Obama is not only giving out free cell phones but lots of other free stuff’s coming down the pike.

Who really knew that liberty and freedom could be bought with a cell phone?

Obama knew and has been working almost four years to bring all takers into his ‘grassroots’ tent.

Impossible to fathom how the one-man, U.S. wrecking ball known as

Barack Hussein Obama,

after four years of the most destructive policies on record, could still attract support from 48% of voters nationwide, while they are saying Mitt Romney can count on 46%

Hey Muffin Boy, this is a liberal site. Did you see the liberal ads? Reminds me of one of your recent post about the conservative advertising you mentioned. LOL

You're proud of those accomplishments? Look into each one and see what went along with them. A lot of those are failures acknowledged by both parties. You wouldn't know this because you're just a copy and paste headline kinda guy.

Newsweek calls Obama 'The First Gay President' on cover

Published May 14, 2012

NewsCore

WASHINGTON – Following President Barack Obama's public announcement backing gay marriage last week, Newsweek magazine has featured him on its front cover with the headline, "The First Gay President."

With Obama's face pictured looking skyward and a rainbow-colored halo above his head, the controversial cover leads to a story written by gay writer Andrew Sullivan -- a self-described political conservative -- who analyzes the president's backing of gay marriage.

President Obama took office in the first quarter of 2009, when median household income was $54,797.63.

As of the last quarter of 2011, median household income was $52,377.21.

This was the interval Mr. Zandi suggested using to check Mr. Romney’s statement, and it shows an income drop of $2,420.42.

That’s not $3,000, of course, but it’s still pretty bad.

One could also reasonably argue that it might be more appropriate to use the quarter before Mr. Obama took office as the baseline, rather than the quarter in which he was sworn in. In the fourth quarter of 2008, median household income was about $55,380.17.

Starting from that quarter gives us a decline of $3,002.96, almost exactly the number Mr. Romney cited.

How about you?
Obama appears black?

You don't vote for race or religion, yet many.....so many of your posts on this forum and other forums so otherwise.

I vote for the man or woman on their ability to perform the office they seek. For example, I would never vote for someone who is running for POTUS if the only job they held was community organizer and failed at that or a new senator that usually voted present. I also don't like it when any elected official does not complete their present term to run for another office.

Well TaxNoMore began severely malfunctioning days ago. He needs a soft reboot to get back on track again. I imagine that ceaselessly copy/pasting articles from all around the internet is an exhausting endeavor.

Still, nice to see the rage finally explode of him in that post. Always happy to determine one's true colors in times like this.

Definition of Whining:

1. To utter a plaintive, high-pitched, protracted sound, as in pain, fear, supplication, or complaint.
2. To complain or protest in a childish fashion.
3. To produce a sustained noise of relatively high pitch: jet engines whining.

Which definition applies to your post bobby6464?

500 FORMER GENERALS, ADMIRALS ANNOUNCE SUPPORT FOR ROMNEY IN POWERFUL FULL-PAGE AD

Roughly 500 senior military officials are endorsing Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney in a full-page ad set to run in the Washington Times on Monday, the Washington Free Beacon reports.

“We, the undersigned, proudly support Governor Mitt Romney as our nation’s next President and Commander-in-Chief,” the ad reads, followed by a staggering list of names and titles. Many of the signatories are former generals and admirals.

THOUSANDS OF BALLOTS UNLIKELY TO REACH MILITARY VOTERS IN TIME

A group of Republican senators said Monday that thousands of voter ballots are unlikely to reach military service members until after Nov. 6.

One day ahead of the election, Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas), Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), John McCain (R-Ariz.), Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) sent a letter to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to express their concern over delays in ballots reaching military voters overseas.

“We write to express concerns over another serious failure by the Department of Defense (DoD) to safeguard the voting rights of our overseas military service members, which we believe could result in the imminent disenfranchisement of thousands,” the letter stated.
Mail redirection in the military can take between 14 to 50 days, meaning a ballot could reach the voter possibly more than a month after ballots have to be mailed back in order to be counted. The Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA) identified problems with the system after the 2010 election, but hasn’t implemented changes.

Actually, Susan, as a military spouse, I haven't heard very many military members say that they do support President Obama. As a matter of fact they are scared of more cut backs if he is re elected.

Colleen A McDonald who lost 3 dealerships that were very successful and had been ranked in the top 200 in the country:

"It's been over 3 years and we are still defending ourselves. Not only was it bad enough that our businesses were closed, Obama's task force along with GM and Chrylser execs had to make their story sound better by telling the world that they shut down the underperformers, the "bad" dealers. Just like Lisa comments about the success of their store, I hear that same story all over the country. Make no mistake...the decision to close dealerships was poorly thought out and who to close was even more corrupt. It's embarrassing as a US Citizen to talk about capitalism and the American Dream just to have our own President close viable, probitable businesses employing over 100,000 people and affecting over 1,000,000 lives to actually pat himself on the back and to use it as a basis for re-election. The forced Bankrupty of GM and Chrysler is nothing to be proud of. Not to mention that he gave the Chrysler to an Italian company. How un-American is that. I only pray that tomorrow justice is served and President Obama is voted out of office for detroying the American Dream, making a joke of capitalism, destroying the hopes and dreams of our children and passing on so much debt to the younger generation, not to mention the apology tour discrediting our veterans. I could never understand how anyone would think by closing down businesses was a good idea. We need to clean house in Washington!"

30,000+ RALLY FOR ROMNEY IN PENNSYLVANIA

An enormous rally for Mitt Romney in Bucks County, PA had people incredulous and tweeting like fury:

@robertcostaNRO my mother is at the Bucks County Romney rally. Says she has never seen a crowd like this. Dwarfs the Bush '04 rally crowd at the same farm.

@robertcostaNRO "The rally doesn't even start for hours, but it feels like a Republican Woodstock." -- my mom, calling from Yardley, PA, a swing area.

@itabramg Traffic backup at Edgewood Shopping Cntr, 1.5 miles to Romney's rally at Shady Brook Farm, Yardley, PA #election2012

@dgjackson WOW! One of the biggest crowds I have ever seen. This is quite the welcome in Pennsylvania. pic.twitter.com/g452PGXz

From Twitchy:
The rally isn’t scheduled to begin until 5:30 pm ET, but tens of thousands of Pennsylvanians have already descended on Bucks County, Pa., to show their support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. The Pa. rally comes on the heels of a massive rally in Cleveland just hours ago.

How big is the crowd? No official figures yet, but some Twitter users say at least 25,000:

@klittleton1 At Romney Victory Rally in Yardley PA. More security here than #Benghazi at least 25k-30k #tcot

@fran chambers According to a source familiar with tonight's Romney event, 30,000 people are expected to attend.
