Is Obama Right to Grant Young Illegal Immigrants Work Permits?
Friday, President Obama announced changes to Department of Homeland Security policy that would allow certain undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as children the opportunity to apply for a two-year stay that would shield them from deportation.
Under the proposal, illegal immigrants under 30 years of age who came to the America illegally before they were 16 will be protected from deportation and can apply for a two-year work visa (which can be renewed indefinitely) given that they have lived in the United States continuously for at least five years, have not committed any crimes, have a high school diploma (or GED equivalent), or have served (or are currently serving) in the military.
Obama said the plan is not a permanent solution, as it does not provide a path to citizenship for the young immigrants, but rather a stopgap measure until he and Congress can pass long-term comprehensive immigration reform.

Here's the party's history section as preserved on their website in 2008. Alas for the DNC, this fancy-tale is still findable on the web here. As we wrote at the time, the 2008 party history skips neatly from pre-Civil War 1848 and picks up again when "the 19th Century came to a close." Effectively skipping all the history noted above. This is the same formula adopted by the 2010 video, except the video moves the clock further back to Jefferson's presidency before performing the same trick of skipping to the dawn of the 20th century. The party made another version of this same lie when redoing their website for 2010, saying, as captured by the Romantic Poet's Weblog: "Democrats are unwavering in our support of equal opportunity for all Americans. That's why we've worked to pass every one of our nation's Civil Rights laws…." Now. Given the sheer boldness of the lie -- literally akin to writing a history of Germany that ends in 1933 and resumes in 1946, neatly skipping those historic trivialities of Adolf Hitler, the Nazis, and the mass murder of six million Jews (not to mention that small skirmish called World War II)-- why is there any surprise, any surprise at all, at the recent repeated surfacing of the culture of racism -- judging others by skin color -- by Obama media allies and politicians? This cultural rot has been the backbone of American liberalism and its political party the Democrats -- for 212 years. No wonder the DNC feels it has to lie. http://spectator.org/archives/2012/09/04/the-... ////////// It's a logically indefensible excuse for racism.

Both of them are garbage. Regardless of what happens, the next four years is going to be ugly. To pick one and defend them as the lesser of two evils? Fine, I can see cases being made on both sides of the aisle. But to go so far as to claim one will be any kind of shining beacon poised to raise the United States back into a dominant and enlightened world superpower? A laughable endeavor. ...How do you boys feel about that idea? Agreeable or does anyone here legitimately feel that a prosperous utopia is right around the corner under the watch of either Obama or Romney?

Dan He's quite the drugstore psychologist isn't he. He's a good one to offer these phoney psychological diagnosis such as psychological projection... I recently diagnosed him with an extreme case of Anti-social Personality Disorder that truly describes him. Now this disorder is one of the hardest to correct...many psychologist try but fail. These individuals lack empathy for people they have formed associations with. Often these people end up in jail or other types of institutons due to their extreme lack of empathy. Often con artist or manipulating money from others is a common characteristic. Some form legal legitimate means to accomplish this but some do not. However, I. Recently offered old Taxi a free Frontal Labotomy to help overcome his prognosis. Not sure if this will work but its worth a try. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZ His psychological projection diagnosis is a manipulation... Along with his other lies and misrpresentations... Another characteristic of an antisocial type is that; They actually get themselves to somehow believe their lies and distortions. This is projection either it just a symptom of this disorder They do this to become convincing enough to do their manipulations Many pschologist agree that a single form of therapy isn't effective. Some have used combinations with limited success. But the Frontal Labotomy...i m not sure of its effectiveness either but I think he could certainly benefit from one.. I always come on here to find out something new. Some point that could sway my view on something or the other. Please Mrs. TaxNoMore, If you'd like to argue a point on here, don't go just reposting the same things over and over. I'll agree you won any actual argument that you have made through the power of the "I know you are, but what am I" method taught at all major law schools. It's just getting old. Last post I'll make. Just thought you could actually do a little more good for your cause if you didn't continually repeat stretched truths. Do you not realize that it's the reason none likes or trusts your party. Rush's manipulated masses, hanging onto every word of an as-hole. If I wanted to hear one, I'd break wind.
