The Governor is far from an innocent bystander. As the state’s attorney general in 2009, Corbett headed a state investigation into accusations against the revered former coach. Although his office denies it, there are multiple confirmations that Corbett assigned no one from his office to follow up on the charges: just one state trooper, a state trooper “not authorized to bring charges against Sandusky.” In addition, when Corbett was sworn in as governor in 2011, he still had not informed The Second Mile Foundation that their founder was under investigation. Instead, as a candidate for governor, he took $650,000 in donations from members of the Second Mile’s unknowing board, even allowing their chairman to hold a fundraiser for his campaign. Upon being elected, Corbett then moved deftly from doing nothing to immediately try to deflect the entire weight of the scandal onto Joe Paterno and Penn State itself, using his recently appointed position as a member of the school’s Board of Trustees (an automatic appointment for all Pennsylvania Governors) to do so.

If you voted for the half-white mooslem in 2008 to prove you weren't a racist, Cool - that's good.

But after 4 years as a complete failure - vote for anybody else to prove you aren't also a moron.

Poll finds majority in US hold racist views

Overall, the survey found that by virtue of racial prejudice, Obama could lose 5 percentage points off his share of the popular vote in his Nov. 6 contest against Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

But Obama also stands to benefit from a 3 percentage point gain because of nonracist sentiment, the researchers said. Overall, that means an estimated net loss of 2 percentage points because of racist attitudes.

http://news.yahoo.com/ap-poll-majority-harbor...

----------

Within the article is this stunning fact:

"Republicans were more likely than Democrats to express racial prejudice in the questions measuring explicit racism (79 percent among Republicans compared with 32 percent among Democrats)"

Almost 80% of Republicans expressed EXPLICIT racism.

EIGHTY PERCENT!!

I guarantee the percentage is higher than that among wingnuts on Topix.

Not promoting anyone moron. Just sick and tired of hearing children making false accusations against adults. You would do well to start growing up yourself. I wouldn't be suprised to find out you wet your crib everytime you post one of your infantile rants on Topix. Grow up and access the facts before you open your preprogramed mouth. Seek out an Independant voter and see how adults use information to come to a decision on who to vote for. Four years ago you hired obama to do a job. He failed to do the job he was hired for and everyone suffered because he faild to do the job. Logic dictates you fire him and replace him with a competent person for the GOOD of EVERYONE. Not the person good for just your selfish party affiliation.

!LOL!

"Bush game showed us now with he and Cheney's defecit don't matter pack of lies." Obama doubled-down on that lesson by adding 5 TRILLION dollars to the nation's debt in only 4 years.

Only a bonehead blames Bush for the last four years of OBAMA'S failures.

Incomprehensible, eh, that Obama's makes Bush's presidency look stellar.

THIS is Obama's impossible-to-praise-or-defend record:
* Unemployment over 8 percent for 98% of his presidency.
* The United States debt is $16 trillion.
* Obama has added 5 TRILLION dollars to that national debt in less than four years
* Obama's 'budget' spends 1.1 TRILLION dollars more than it takes in
* A new entitlement passed that is now forecasted to cost more than $1.7 trillion during the next 10 years.
* 46 million people are receiving food stamps.
* A loss in the net worth of a majority of Americans.
* No plan submitted to save Social Security or Medicare.
* 14 million people are projected to lose their employer-sponsored health care.
* Gas prices are $4 a gallon.
* College tuition is up over 8 percent in 2011.
* Foreign policy that has created a Middle East crisis and puts the United States and American lives at risk.
* The current level of economic growth under Obama's 'leadership' threatens another recession.
* Second quarter business equipment and software purchases were the lowest increase in 3 years.
* Real disposable income was down 3.1% in the second quarter of 2012.
* 25 MILLION Americans unemployed or underemployed

Obama: an unprecedented four year failure.

Typical smart ass comment from a typical party loyalist. Use your brain. Romney has a long history of success in business. Business creates jobs. Obama has had 4 years to create jobs. He has failed. The americam people suffer due to the lack of jobs. Common sense, and not party afiliation, dictate you choose Romney. You have no right to sell out the future of the American people just so you can keep your parties candidate in office. There is nothing more selfish than a person who votes party over what's best for this country.

Republicans fear that the government has too much control over corporations. Democrats fear that corporations have too much control over our government.

Democrats believe it benefits all of us to help the weakest and the poorest among us. Republicans believe it benefits all of us to help the wealthiest and most powerful among us.

Republicans believe large corporations will always do what is best for the American people if the government stays out of the way. Democrats believe large corporations would disembowel you and sell your organs to the highest bidder if the government didn’t stop them.

Democrats believe everyone is entitled to health care regardless of their ability to pay. Republicans believe everyone is entitled to jack squat if they can’t pay for health care.

Democrats believe too much of our money goes to crooked corporate executives who take government subsidies and pay themselves $80 million salaries. Republicans believe too much of our money goes to teachers who make $30,000 a year.

Democrats believe anything that helps the American people during a recession or a time of crisis is the true essence of patriotism. Republicans believe anything that helps the American people during a recession or a time of crisis is the true essence of communism.

Democrats believe that we need to set high standards for clean air and drinking water. Republicans believe that standards for clean air and water are burdensome over-regulation.

Democrats believe the President and Congress need to work together to create jobs during a weak economy. Republicans believe that Congress should do nothing to create jobs and then blame the President.

Democrats believe that corporate polluters should be made to pay for the cleanup of their pollution. Republicans believe that making corporations clean up their pollution is burdensome over-regulation.

Democrats believe our health care system exists solely for the purpose of making people healthy. Republicans believe our health care system exists solely for the purpose of making a healthy profit.

Democrats believe Congress should be of the people, by the people and for the people. Republicans believe corporations are the people.

Democrats believe that corporations have too much influence over Congress due to their lobbyists and huge campaign contributions. Republicans believe the middle class has too much influence over Congress due to their voting and paying taxes.

Democrats believe we need to protect victims of corporate negligence by allowing Americans to file lawsuits against corporations. Republicans believe we need to protect large corporations from lawsuits by Americans who’ve been victimized by them.

Democrats believe that the rich should be taxed more than the poor and middle class. Republicans believe that the rich should be allowed to keep all their wealth, except for the millions in campaign contributions they give to politicians.

Democrats believe that too much money in politics produces corruption and destroys the American way of life. Republicans believe that money and corruption in politics are the American way of life.
