It's okay Davie, I was lying and got caught. I just can't seem to "pull one over" these conservatives. They keep catching me in a lie or plagarizing.

Don't ruin your reputation defending me. Keep up the fight...even if you have to lie and cheat.

By the way Davie, mow your lawn. It looks a mess. We need to try and change the liberal image from sloppy, unkept, stringy haired people to neat, clean and nicely kept property owners.

So get on cleaning up your yard and yourself.(And don't forget to take a bath).

Things didn't go as planned for Obama at Ohio State University, the largest college in Ohio.

According to ABC, the Obama campaign had expected an "overflow" of people. Instead, the arena was only half full.

I guess the days of Obama drawing big crowds are over. Why would that be? Probably because he now has a record and no one like it, and they can't wait ot vote him out of office.

Ann Romney's $990 blouse sets off a media firestorm

Just more proof that RINO Mitt Romney and his wife is out of touch not only with 99% of Americans, but with reality. He doesn’t care about the poor and he likes to fire people… and now his wife is wearing a $1000 blouse… they might as well have sat there eating a big crystal bowl of luxury delicacy caviar.

Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money, than what Barack Obama does with mine.

Michelle Obama’s Expensive Fashion Rivals That Of Ann Romney

While the political fashionistas had a field day this week with Ann Romney’s nearly $1,000 blouse, she is not the only presidential candidate’s wife with expensive taste.

Despite her penchant for more affordable clothing, First Lady Michelle Obama also has a pricey wardrobe.

From Balenciaga and Helmut Lang to Michael Kors and Marchesa, the first lady has been known to wear some big name, and expensive, designer fashions.

Last week alone, Mrs. Obama was spotted in two different L’Wren Scott cardigans, priced between $2,000 and $3,000.
Last Thursday, Mrs. Obama wore the designer’s peach embroidered cardigan to a Take Your Child to Work Day event at the White House.

The very next day she wore another, similar version in white with red embellishment to greet troops at Fort Stewart, in Georgia, with the president.

It should be noted, however, that Mrs. Obama is also well-known for boosting sales at the more affordable J. Crew and has been seen shopping at the discount store Target.

Mrs. Romney’s decision to wear Reed Krakoff’s silk bird-printed design on morning television raised eyebrows earlier this week.

The blouse retails for $990. With the state of the economy a key campaign theme for their husbands, both women’s fashion choices will likely be heavily scrutinized in the run-up to election day.

Mrs. Obama is familiar with the public tweaking for her pricey choices.

During her Hawaiian vacation last December, the first lady was spotted wearing an almost $2,000 sundress by designer Sophie Theallet to church on Christmas day.

Later, she allegedly donned a $950 Comme des Garcons skirt for a visit with troops and their families.

Frustration floods McKeesport council chambers

By Jennifer R. Vertullo
McKeesport Daily News
Thursday, May 3, 2012, 7:18 a.m.
Updated: Friday, May 4, 2012

With some attendees shaking their heads and others leaving the room, an air of frustration filled McKeesport council chambers Wednesday evening as city officials continued arguments on the topics they've debated for months.
After council approved the revision of a previously tabled service agreement for solicitor J. Jason Elash in a 5-2 vote, with Councilors V. Fawn Walker-Montgomery and A.J. Tedesco dissenting, council president Darryl Segina sidestepped Robert's Rules of Order by commenting on the matter after a vote was cast.
Segina said there were private reservations about Elash's appointment as solicitor, despite a unanimous vote in January. Those reservations have increased among some council members and the public since DUI charges were filed against Elash after a single-vehicle accident on Jan. 22.
"The only thing we can do, and what we did, is negotiate the contract," Segina said. "The beginning contract only stated the retaining fee (of $1,500 per month) and $75 an hour. In the one we just passed, there was more."
Elash's service agreement outlines his scope of services as defined by McKeesport's Home Rule Charter and adds a personal conduct clause that charges him to uphold the city's reputation. It notes that his employment will be terminated if convicted of any alcohol-related offenses for incidents occurring after March 1, 2012.
Tedesco asked if the contract defines whether Elash is an employee or a professional contractor, specifically asking if his services require a W-2 or 1099 federal tax form. He noted that the question was not intended to spark further controversy, but rather to clarify a matter of record-keeping that city officials will resolve in coming days.
"Council approves the solicitor, and the mayor executes the contract on behalf of the city," Mayor Michael Cherepko said. "It's a non-bidding contract ... for professional services. Council doesn't have a say as long as it's within the budget."
Cherepko said he extended a courtesy in compromising with council in the development in Elash's contract. That statement led to bickering between Cherepko and Walker-Montgomery, when he told her the matter was "nothing to smirk about."
Walker-Montgomery said the mayor didn't know what she was laughing about, and he should not call her out on an assumption. Both parties were silenced by Segina's gavel as they told one another to watch their mouths and educate themselves.

Target 11 investigates local welfare fraud

Thursday, April 26, 2012

http://www.wpxi.com/news/news/local/target-11...

A Target 11 investigation uncovered a local couple accused of cheating the welfare system of more than $120,000 in six years.

Target 11 investigator Rick Earle shows how easy it might be to cheat the system. According to court documents, one of the defendants made up some paperwork and cashed in. When confronted by Target 11, Angela Kilbert denied obtaining food stamps, LIHEAP and medical benefits. However, investigators said Kilbert and her husband, John, devised an elaborate scheme to defraud the welfare system. According to the criminal complaint, Angela first applied for food stamps in 2005. At the time, she said she worked part time and was separated from her husband, with whom she had four kids, making her eligible for welfare. For six years Kilbert got more than $123,000 in food stamps, medical benefits and utility payments. She collected until the IRS discovered she was working full-time. Investigators said Kilbert falsified employment letters and during some of the six years actually worked full time at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Authorities also said she and her husband lived together the entire time, which would have made her ineligible.“My husband and I were not together at the time,” Kilbert said Kilbert’s attorney David Shrager said his client was off-and-on with her husband.“These aren’t people who sat around and hatched a plot to get rich on other people’s workings,” Shrager said.“They would reconcile for a while and then split up again. That happened for quite some time and we can prove that.” Target 11 discovered the Kilbert case is one of more than 1,000 welfare fraud cases in Pennsylvania during the past two years. Allegheny County has the most, 105, followed by Westmoreland County with 51, Beaver with 38, Fayette with 31, Butler with 22 and Washington with 8. Target 11 calculated the fraud costs the taxpayer almost $4 million across Pennsylvania. Representative Daryl Metcalfe, of Cranberry, has co-sponsored legislation targeting welfare fraud, inducing a new income eligibility verification system that all welfare recipients must pass.“There is a lot of welfare fraud that’s going undetected and we need to crack down,” Metcalfe said.“Within the next year, we want another law that would require a more strenuous check.” Metcalfe plans to hear back on the legislation by June.
