Gettysburg warns drivers of bump

Gettysburg officials are warning motorists of a very noticeable bump at the western edge of West Middle Street at Confederate Avenue.

First, no sign yet, must be approved by PennDot.
Second, street just reopened after two months of work on it. Could be that the contractor needs to "debump" the roadway.

heard there wouldn't be a bump if the casino would have come to town. Now Gettysburg is going to h*ll in a handbasket. No casino money to fix the roads, house the homeless or give jobs to the jobless. Oh, the humanity of it all, will the spiraling downfall ever end

Yepper, the casinos would have at least brought jobs to the area. Don't see anything else wanting to relocate there or correction allowed. Well, when the townsfolk are jobless, homeless and penniless, they can at least admire the battlefield. For their tax dollars did pay for it's upkeep while they did have it all.....ROCK ON!

Al Gore just reported that global warming would not be as much of a threat if there was a casino in Gettysburg.
