George they are laughing at the ignorance of people like Exposing and that classy fartman. When I moved here I found out I was in a "right to work state". I was told by coworkers it actually means "no right to work state". They were correct. Workers here have no rights because of that law. I decided to look up which states were involved. The right to work states looked like the map of red and blue states. It was almost a carbon copy. Republican states have the law. Republicans in Congress are writing the laws to screw the American worker, yet they have people like EX and HFB supporting them. In my book, they are fools.

Exposing, you're a genius. You said "You called me a racist, you just didn't have the balls to say it". That's amazing. You can read minds. You also said I never served in the military. How could you know if I did or not? You're awesome. When I called you a hater, you took off on multiple racist rants. You exposed yourself as a racist without me having to say a word about it.

Never fear masshole, I mean mass io is here! This area just received our route buyback settlement checks this past weekend. No one knew, but were surprised.

It seems like the IO's who received supermarket routes are happy. Not happy they are working 6-7 days/week, but happy they don't have to deal with the street business.

From what I heard mgmt printed up some report indication if all the chain c-stores have been serviced recently. So calls went out to the IO's and were told to do them asap. What the reports doesn't show is the IO's DID service the stores! I love how mgmt sits and prints out a report that says an IO hasn't been to a store and when the IO says he has mgmt believes the report lol. Here's a suggestion: print an updated report, not one from the start of the merger.

Another thing that bothers me is the combined supervisors TELLING IO's to do something. Aside from a few of them the sups at S-L are the most incompetant people I've ever met, and that's aside from the number one incompetant alcoholic sup P.H. No names! I have yet to begin my rath on personnel still working there. I hope there are supeonas with any suit cause I will supeona my stores and make them tell countless stories about a sup who was always smelling of alcohol while on the job. Mgmt rather keep some one like him over IO's that generated over $500,000/year worth of sales to S-L? IO's who would have worked another 15-20 years while this sup retires withine the next 5? If he doesn't get caught for dui or kills himself or otheres? That's good business sense? Sign me up.

That's enough for now. I have to cool down. How's everyone's commission rates? Oh, you'd probably don't know cause you haven't gotten a product or price list yet. Hear that mgmt? After you read this it'd be smart to hit print on the copy machine and get the product and price list to the IO's. It might help then to know what the commission rates are, and what products S-L has.
And this advice is free.....morons

This area goes live Monday. Only one route sold as far as I know. The word is getting out thanks to sites like this one. It does not take a math major to do these numbers and see that it does not pay. NOT to mention the BS lies that are being told. Will one of you, that has already done the 120 days, tell me about what happens at the end of the 120 day wait for severence package. I can't stand this damn company. I have never worked for a more dishonest group of management. ZM preached integrety, and I worked with a DM that sold stale product knowing it was stale. He had the balls to tell me that the ZM was aware that He was doing it because the warehouse was sending it out that way. Either you can't get what you ordered or it comes to you one week out or already dated. We are going to lose a lot of space and or accounts over this. Who would want to buy into this crap???

I got my transition pay about a month after I left.. I was not offered a route because I was almost 62 and they figured I would retire...As soon as I was no longer an employee I called to make sure the proper paperwork had been sent in. Got in a month later..

I don't know what percentages you're working on up north, Mass IO, but down here 18% is a thing of the past. 17% on Snyder/Lance products and 14% on Publix Private Label. You can't make it in this business working on that low a commission.

One thing is for sure, IT IS EMBARRASSING TO HEAR EVERYONES COMMISSION RATES! THIS COMPANY should be ashamed of themselves for being the lowest paying company out there! Most all of the other company's get 20% across the board. They recognize that if the distributors are healthy, than the route system is healthy.
I heard a rumor today that Coke may be buying S-L! Has anybody heard anything? These rumors came from frito guys...

IO's make 18% on snyders-Lance and most partner brands. 10% on aurora dried fruit&nuts, and private label. 15% on other items which have not been communicated to the IO's.

Snyders of hangover. If the rumors are true I'm pretty sure everyone signed a dead contract. s-L will owe IO's nothing if bought out. Unwritten rule the new company takes care of the IO's, but not guaranteed. That was one thing a small amount of IO's here tried to changed before signing under duress.

Word is longer hours, less pay, more stress, more expenses, lower commission, and mgmt still ordering IO's on how to run their routes. Is S-L IO or company routes? That is the class action question. The up coming months will tell the story.

Is it Mike?... After expenses and your commission AVERAGE being less than 17% when you factor in private label at 14%, you are pretty much working for pennies on the dollar.

Amazing how your expectations of being a business owner are "at least I'm not a homeless bum"... I can guess within $100 how much you have in the bank.

Geeze your mentality is why S-L continues to do what they do.

2 years ago Snyder paid $10 million on a suit you described. The basis of the suit was Snyder treated IO's as employees. I know, I got over $8,000 out of it :)!! After we got our checks nothing changed. We just shook our heads. They didn't learn a thing and we knew a second suit would be in the making. I'm just waiting for the papers to come in the mail. A little retirement booster will soon be coming my way.
