I worked for Snyders while in college years ago and it was a decent company to work for. WoW how things changed. I am disappointed to hear a once fair company has lowered itself to the likes of low level thugs and criminals. If half of what is posted is true, I would hope the SAG would start processings to look into this. My advise would be seek out your local congressman, have a sit down and explain the one-sided contract. Law states that considerations must favor both parties for any contract to be legally binding.

Hey guys, I have a question about Independent gas stations. Right now I have 2 Independent gas stations that sell a ton of stuff. Right now I have 99 cent stuff, Big Jays, Ok Dokie, and some Pounder Pretzels in there. I'm trying get some higher prices stuff in there too like Chocolate pretzels, pretzel pieces, and Salerno cookies.

Is it ok if I put those items in the store or would they frown on that? What items do you put in your high sales gas stations? Need some feedback

For those of you that go through the company to get your taxes prepared, here is a question for you:

Do you believe that the company is looking out for your best interest by suggesting that you go to particular accountant?

All of the independents I had 99cent stuff did the best. The higher price stuff did not sell to good in them.

I agree. 8 years working c-stores for Lance and you get over a dollar, $1.50 or so you get in trouble. Have found the Wise $1.59 will sell. Have picked up TONS of pretzels and pieces priced at 269 and more than my share of 329 CapeCod and 249 Toms over the years. Same goes for the meat items. Big money going in but big money coming out. Of course all this depends on LOCATION. Ive got a store on I-95 and folks buy anything and everything in that one.

Most drivers buy a route and make a mistake of assuming that just ANYBODY could do their taxes. Anyone could pull your teeth out too but if you needed to have an extraction, it would be best to go to a dentist that has a medical degree. When you own a business that is incorporated, you need the advice of a tax professional such as a CPA or EA.

Another error route owners make is assuming that the accountant recommended to them is best. Most drivers who buy a distribution route do not already use a CPA or EA, so they just go with whomever is suggested. Big mistake!

Some companies will tell you that a CPA will do your taxes yet hire workers with very little experience to give you important financial advice.(Check your tax return to see if the person who signs it is your accountant.)

At Distributor Tax Services you will always deal with a tax professional who is a CPA or EA.

I have been informed that corporate management will be in Pinellas county Florida this week. I wonder if they will talk to the sales force that's on the front line? Or are they just going to do market checks and then listen to dm's that tell them what they want to hear.
I hope I see them out in my stores so I can tell them what's really going on at the Largo warehouse.
Are they here to respone to the lawsuit that has been filed? Their 10 days are up and are now in default of the courts for not responding.
I think Mr. Anderson is in over his head, more lawsuits to come I'm sure.

what are the grounds for your lawsuit? i know everywhere in the country we have been lied to over and over. plus we have all been cheated out of money and overcharged for these bullshit combo routes that will never do the numbers that they are supposed to do.

From what I have seen, fraud would be one good reason. The majority of the routes they sold were using fraudulent numbers. Very few of the routes are doing the numbers presented to the IO's.
