Yes I am I am suppose to be on 18% but when they changed us to having to buy our product I might go every 2 weeks before I get a check. I done ok before when we didn't have to buy our product. I use to work for Lance and I am sorry that you guys are being screwed like this.

We are company owned routes in St.louis and converting to I.O later this year. Do you think this is a good deal or bad deal? Why? What do you think the commission will be? Thank you.

My husband hired into this mess about a year ago. He is a floater and does not have an assigned route. He was told this past week he will get one but noone seems to know when or how much. Our credit is very is not great and not sure if he'll get finaced. Just wonder if not then what???? He left a good job to work for Lance was promised advancement with the company only to find out he gets the boot along with everone else. Has anyone finaced a route with poor credit?
Another thing it doesn't take a rockect scientist to realize that it will be hard to make money. Most routes my husband has seen run around 5000.00 per week the biggest 6000.00. Even 20% commision would only mean 1200.00 per week take away gas, truck expenses, liabillity insurance, health insurance, payment on route financing, taxes there won't be much left. Is there anywar to stop this before drivers loose their livelyhood and families loose their insurance?
Any ideas?

I've been with Lance for 7yrs...although I've made great money....nothing short of a miracle will stop this decision by the company....over the past 2-3 yrs...concern for the employees especially @ the route level has all but disappeared :(

The little guy helps build up the company puts his time and soul into it. Then somebody in a suit shows up decides the dollar is more important than his fellow humans and it's all over. Even if someone says hey this isn't working out like we thought it would it's too late. To many lives have been changed and although the company may decide to go back to the way things were they will never be as a great as the once were (except on paper) but, is that all that really matters? Remember a old guy named Sam who always drove the same truck? He started one of the biggested store chains we have in our country today. Now even though it's big it's not as great as it it once was. It is plagued by lawsuits and other problems. If he was still alive how would he feel about how his predecessors now run things? What once was his pride would now be his shame.

Forgot to ask does anyone know when this will all be happening in Kentucky?
Also has anyone heard anything about WalMart and some other large stores being drop shipped? I read that on another board yesterday.

Where are you located because they might do ours by June hopefully can't seem to get any straight answers from anyone. As far as the comm goes good luck because you won't get a straight answer on that either.

I don't understand why there are still compnay owned routes when we I O are getting screwed so bad. I was told that we all were independent, we all need to get together and show this company what happens when you play with peoples lives and money

If we all got together and parked our trucks and trailers for a week thye would be in a mess. We all need to stick together so that our live are not turned upside down, and we will be able to make money.
