section 8 moochers are a problem, they bring crime, gangs, drugs and bugs to the neighborhood when section 8 housing exists to any degree. we must find a way to keep these people from polluting desirable neighborhoods with their culture of filth and entitlement. broodmares on the baby for bucks program downloading babies they have no way to support or raise. these people are using the government as an insturment of plunder. they use the police power of government to do something for them that if they were to do it for themselves it would be a crime. they can`t back you into a alley and grab money out of you wallet. but the government can take it+give it to them.

AA are not the primary problem race in PA according to the numbers. Mexicans seems to have pulled FAR FAR ahead in both non and violent crimes and sky rocketing in sex crimes. I myself don't care about a race issue but I do care about the numbers. My opinion is the worst thing ever to happen to my country was the Mayflower.

We've been gone from the Hanover area since 2005 - moved to WV where the taxes are low and the crime rate even lower.

Have things really gotten that bad in the boro or is it just certain sections that have turned?

certain sections, where they dump the section 8 moochers. La Raza set up shop in hanover they will bring in tons of mexicans. hanover is getting a little social engineering. when we subsidize parasites, we get more and more parasites.

We still own a home in the boro near the Adams County line but in York County. Its only a few blocks from DeLone as you drive toward the square - actually closer to St. Vincent's Church.

Although some of the houses could stand some work, most in that area are well kept and clean.
We rent ours out to a great long term tenant.

Is that one of the declining areas or are the Section 8 areas more toward the old Hills Plaza on the Maryland side of the boro?

I'd hate to make the trip but you've peaked my curiosity now.

You'd know which house was mine if I told you who we bought from. We've owned it for a few years now. Beautiful place, well built, and very comfortable.

Traffic on Third Street is way too noisy, though - especially the trucks that rumble through town.

Has the neighborhood changed much, Darwin Awards, or is it still basically the same? We'd actually like to move back to the area someday to be closer to the kids, but if the neighborhood is declining...

"Our" area is about the same. To much old school blood for anyone else to move in. How ever the park has become a problem. My daughter*19* can't even really use the park because a group of AA will surround her "Yo, girl what ya name, number, wanna toke for a smoke a bloke". Hanover PD is doing a good job keeping a eye on the park. We have seen a increase in Latin gang activity, it's no where near LA but it is getting bigger in the usa and in Hanover. I would still start a family and raise my kids here and no matter how bad it gets here, it's still 1000% better than anything Maryland. Any other questions feel free to email me at binaryencryption@gmail.com

Wirt Park or the one on Filbert a few blocks in from Third?

Given my chosen profession (before I retired, of course) I was never one for vigilantism.

Now that I'm a few years older and have no fear of losing my job or pension, I'm not so sure that some of the old ways of solving problems are really that bad.

Back in the day, and it wasn't all that long ago, you'd be surprised what a whack upside the head or simply the implied threat of a butt kicking could do.

The ones that did get some street justice rarely acted up again.

Yeah it would be Wirt Park that is having problems. They have been keeping a closer patrol on it so that helps a bit. The square has been seeing more violence too. I was talking to some teachers the other weekend and they said that herion is a problem at South Western. Other than that its not as bad as York but the worse that York gets, the worse Hanover gets

The street is the streets. White teenage boys are not gonna fight with adult minorities selling dope. Very few adults are willing to bang it out. People have children and careers to think about first. I have personally seen success in kinda of a mixed scene. There is no reason to hate on color. Since people of all races want the same thing. The Mexican woking 60 hours a week with 4 kids isn't your enemy. The black guy who escaped his urban hell isn't your enemy either. It's important to know your enemy. You stand with people who have the same values as you, and that's much more then skin deep.
So unless the working man is willing to get there hands dirty, which they are not. In any race. The town will fall to all the drugs. Typical story. It's a epidemic and Hanover is just another town in the United States with the same problems. Real change needs to national. There will be no little oasis called Hanover where the drug problem won't exist. So where's the real war? The Middle East or Mexico/Colombia? Our nation failed to protect us. This is the results.

All that big money snorting those little white lines. It's not going anywhere. And everyone should have known the dope was coming. We were guarding the Afghani poppy fields. And now...there's more dope then ever. So place the blame where it belongs. On the people we vote into office.

Oh and since this is a riots thread. Consider this. With no S.B. there's woulda been no T.C. He was the white one. And the one if he hits you, your face would explode. T.C. Isn't on the same level in local lure. S.B. held the power if he knew it or not. All those little wiggers in the 90's. that was his army. Like I said he may not of knee it, but it was.

And it true. The SW kids and Hanover kids grow up. Some of em got pretty dangerous. Dude like T.C. Didnt get stomped out for respect of S.B. and what he could do. And the fact T.C. Is a Aids patient. No one wants his hot blood on their nikes. Then your local police did a good job of destroying the local crews. It sure doesnt help with the out of towners come in and setting up shop. Matter of fact I remember a time when SB and TC where robbing some of the family for OZ's of weed. You better believe if SB wasn't there TC would ate some steel toes. Facts. If you think you know me come at me. You all mofos are to washed up to handle it anyway.
