I am one of the older people! I've never had a kid in school in pa., not even a grand child! They assess your property to decide how much school tax you pay,( which is unconstitutional) Renters don't pay, just property owners! The trash that multiply's in the rental ghettoes are poppin out kids & were paying for they're free ride! Its screwed up!

Trouble is they are Breeding & expanding at the American Tax Payers Expense! Make the SOB's speak english when in our country & pay for their own education like we & our parents had too ,and their healthcare that Obama gives them for nothing, & most of all their share of all these damn High Taxes we Americans pay everyday!

I do have to agree with your last sentence, but please explain in detail just what is "unconstitutional" about school taxes.
Obviously, you don't know very much about "renters" and "property owners" when it comes to paying taxes. Again, I'll ask you to explain in detail just where do you think the "property owners" get the money to pay their school taxes.

Dick, you should go to a cultural diversity meeting. the left is waging a full scale war against indivdualism. when diversity is the issue you are categorizing and judging people not by their individuality, but by their group identity. the other form of diversity education is the selling the idea that white guys are bad. all the third world slugs are good. you just have to overlook their culture of filth and entitlement and pay for it.

Examples are:
#1 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_protester_Sixteenth...

#2 income taxes impose involuntary servitude in violation of the Thirteenth Amendment. Some tax protesters argue that Americans are citizens of the individual states as opposed to citizens of the United States, as the Fourteenth Amendment was not properly ratified

Everything I have read says that federal income tax is unconstitutional and all tax power is given to the states. So it would seem the law is, its not the feds place to impose a tax but each state to do so. So a state property/school tax would not be unconstitutional, in fact that is the way is was meant to be. But good luck trying to test that out lol

What you say may or may not be true, but I have to agree completely with your last sentence.
If there is any truth to the things that you refer to, it would seem to me that these subjects would have been struck down a long time ago if there was any problem with them.

I totally understand your point, but it is your choice as to where to send your daughter to school.
Unfortunately, the public school systems must plan to handle all students in their area, those going to public as well as private schools. Why? If all private school students just happened to be pulled out of the private schools(unlikely, but it could happen), the public school systems must have the facilities and resources to accommodate those extra students.

Well if it is her choice then it should be her choice where to spend the money. Why should she have to pay school taxes when she already pays a school? Your comment is nuts, clueless and I disagree.

taxpayers should be given a choice in a form of a voucher, if the taxpayer would rather send their child to a private school then the school tax money should go toward the private school tuition. the teachers union would never stand for this.

I'm sorry, but under current law, she doesn't have that option. No one is forcing her to use a private school, when the childs education(good, bad, or otherwise) is already paid for at a public school.
I'll stand by my statement that public schools have to be able to function with ALL possible students in their area. It is unlikely that all private schools would close, but it is possible. The private schools have no legal obligation to educate any student, whereas the public system has that obligation.
That being said, I have no objection to a voucher program, as long as it is fair and doesn't destroy the public school system as we know it.
