I welcome the Olive Garden, but it seems like a lot of steak in the area. Either way, good news for the tax base for the area.

There is no problem moving pre-fab steak in Hanover, hopefully the Hospital will get funding to continually enlarge...no problem!

Maybe they can go where the Hot and Now is?

I grew up in Hanover but live in Atlanta now. Longhorn Steakhouse is very nice. They serve excellent quality steaks and nicer than the Texas Roadhouse. The ambiance is nicer too. Please keep an open mind about Longhorn, it's a great place to eat.
I am excited

Great place but you can never get a table. I will just continue to go to Mama Ventura's-real Italian food.

Awesome ! I wish there were more choice at the south side of Hanover. They need to add a nice restaurant in that area as well. Come on West Manhiem get with the program.

The Hot and Now should be considered a historic building. Save Hot and Now!

I'm interested to know why these municipalities don't push the shopping centers on the south end of town for a change. There are plenty of available spaces that sit empty and they allow new shopping centers to open knowing the other centers have available space. More empty space that could have remained farm land!!!!
Yum

Looking forward to Olive Garden! I haven't eaten in Longhorn but if the food is good and the atmosphere a little quieter I would be for it. I like Texas Roadhouse food but after work I like a little quieter atmosphere.

Maybe because the municipality doesn't own them? Not a function of government.

Sorry I didnt mean to sound that way. There needs to be more restaurants in the south side of Hanover. I believe and correct me if I am wrong, that "They",(the township of West Manheim) have a dry township which makes it less appealing for some restaurants to come into this area. So I guess "they" (the Township) need to get with the program by changing some statues. Hope that clears up my faux pas

Hate to tell you...you need to go to Italy for real Italian food.

But that's okay, keep believing....

They were dry but as of at least several years ago they are wet. So, I guess you need to get with the program. How about starting a restaurant?

West Manheim is not a wet township, It has not passed the bill to give out liquor lic. and if it has It will not, they have had several resturants come in interested in the spot right in front of walmart but noone will take it because they cannot get a liqour lic. and dont you people have anything better to do then post rude comments about what other people write on here?

Thank you for clearing that up. I was not sure either if they passed it or not. It is a shame because this side of town could really use some nice family restaurants. And you are so right about some peoples comments. Hopefully "they",(the Township) will reconsider.

Not sure where you got your information but it is incorrect. The supervisors do not have to pass a "bill", the choice is made by the residents at an election. This happened at least several years ago. There are licenses available obviously as both Olive Garden and Longhorn have or will be purchasing one. Maybe the people interested in one do not want to pay the price? In any case do your homework before you post wrong information.
