If I did my job the way the lawmakers do theirs, I would be outside looking in. That is precisely what needs to happen to them, PUT THEM OUT!

"Donna Blettner of Hanover said she is disappointed that President Obama criticizes all the solutions that are presented while offering none of his own."

Obviously watches Fox News.

I think it's high time that we start fining our elected officials for every lie that they tell to manipulate the people. This would lead to honest debates over real policies and not just who's going to win the next election.

Reguardless if I or She watches FOX or MSNBC, all the bickering needs to go away from both sides, or the people need to react in a way to make it NOT happen again, like voting your conscience not your party line!

Whenever someone criticizes the government they are considered anti government a rebel or perhaps even a terrorist. I am neither. I love this country and want it to excel in greatness. There is a cloud over us and it needs to be lifted. What we need is for our leaders to stop embarrassing this nation with their petty antics. The media could also stop intensifying the problem by their incessant barrage of trivial details about the situation. Personally I am disgusted with the behavior of these people and find it all rather immature. We need strength in unity,as a people. We need harmony with our government.
Every country needs a government to control, manage, and institute justice. We need leaders who promote peace and harmony amongst the people. Folks we can respect and regard in high esteem. I do not see any respect anymore ,only loathing and a run the mouth situation. Between the media and the government all I see and hear is backbiting, bickering and tattling. Where is there respect?
The problem is not the President or this or that legislator, the problem is respect. I hope that by writing this some of you see yourselves and correct the problem, because it is already an issue. It saddens me to watch what was once a great country ,fall apart because of the constant bitching and lack of honor, in our congress and senate. President Obama is not treated with an ounce of respect either. What has happened in our world? We are supposed to look up to these people and mimic their actions. How can we do that ? Should we argue and call our neighbors names at every turn?Do you get the point.

The essential points made by the definition are that we have no control over the southern border with the United States, the illegal menace is still at large long term effects of prolonged flow of illegal's into our nation especially drugs, gangs, and murder.. let me add here over stays are being identified as illegal broken the law, we have approved enough money to deport these over stays about 400,0000 especially those who are felon deal with fugitives, and those picked up at the border. those people come here caring nothing about our laws, family, and occupation or social status, they become a burden to the tax payer people. people deported seem to come back again and commit crimes for instance sex offender crimes, we have to realize that illegal's are not all coming here to work.
The house panel most start to stop illegal's we assume that the bill to assure that mexicans working here are here legally, and pass a house bill increase the fine on employers who hire the workers, moreover Texas must curb, reduce the negative impact on the nations problems.
Texas has benn dragging it feet for well over 30 years and yes, we are at risk given the fact that congress has still to act, taking a step in the direction of action with e-verify a system of a lawful immigration enforcement act, to include state and local officers to verify the legal status of people cited for traffic offences and misdemeanors. No one will benefit more than employers from an immigration overhaul that restores the rule of the law in the workplace. Most employers want to be on the right side of the law it's their obligation as citizens, and it makes good business sense. Immigration Works strongly supports effective workplace enforcement as a centerpiece of comprehensive immigration reform.

Both parties are horrible, one looks for the big corporate man (GOP) the other looks out only for minorities and government revenue (dems). However you could vote Green, Libertarian, etc and results probably wouldn't be much better. Whenever you give someone power they look out for themselves and their friends, and not those who vote them into office. People like to cry about current government raising taxes but yet if you cut taxes people WILL lose jobs & income and then the economy for middle class is just that much worse than it is now. It's a no win situation for the average Joe. There isn't one person who's going to fix the countries problems overnight or even in just two years because of how bad of shape things were before they became part of it. The GOP and Dems are so worried about being elected to office and having peeing matches over it that they aren't working together at all to rebuild this countries economic system. It absolutely sucks but do the American people have a choice? No because all politicians from any party are above us, and have rule over the American people with all of us having no say in what they decide to do. Thus they can screw us over like no other for their own benefit we all just have to take it.

ITS a given, once a party gets in, the loyal
flunkies won't admit they made a mistake.
Hell, they have to be in a bread line and the bread
runs out before they realize, "I;m hungry"!!!
Want to dummie down america, too late, its as
far as its going to go before another country
wants it....They want to make sure the loons are still
until they have no use for the rats , you know work
camps.....The rep., they don't want, those are the
one the dems hated to there OWN destruction. hee
