So is there really a need to turn the lights on permanently a month before opening? Sounds like the powers that be are having some fun playing with traffic efficiencies which this will absolutely not help until the place opens. All that will happen is that traffic on 94 will be slowed down for no reason.

I quit traveling that way several weeks ago when I sat there 25 minutes at 4 am before I turned around and went back. Remember when they started this project and Eckman said 2 lanes will be open at all times? The same day I waited! I have never seen such a cluster f--k! When you are making 2 lanes into four why cant you work on the two new ones and then the old ones, not a little here and a little there. I will not travel that road till JD Eckman is back to where ever they came from!

If you understood what you read then you would understand why the lights have been activated. Read the article again and then read it again and again until your small brain absorbs the information.

So, what difference does it make if they turn them on now, or a month from now? You will have to get used to them sooner or later, so why not start now, then when traffic gets heavier when the stores actually open, everybody will be used to the traffic lights.
