To "shocked" - Read the article again....it says the motorcycle and the car were traveling in opposite directions and the car made a left turn in front of the motorcycle! It is always possible that the motorcyclist was speeding and the driver of the car misjudged his speed....but there is nothing mentioned in this article about speeding.

I would suggest that the writer of this article did not get all the facts before writing the article. Had he waited for the police report, it would have been clear who was at fault.

To "Judi" I Don't Believe The Driver Of The Car Could Have Misjudge His Turn If The Motorcycle Driver Is Speeding Between Two Cars That Were Already In Front Of Him Slowing Down, Just To Get Through A Light That Was Turning Red BTW It's Only 2 Lanes Not 2 Lanes And A 1/2 For Motorcycles To Fit Through. All That Was Is A Motorcycle Driver Thinking He Is Invisible.

Ummmm Hello The Motorcycle Driver Went Between Two Cars Whenever It's Only Two Lanes To Begin With. Just To Try And Get Through The Light

To "Ignorance"...you are quite right; however, I was commenting on the facts as written in THIS article....not making any judgments. It is still a tragic and unnecessary loss of life and my heart goes out to his family and friends.

It Is Tragic What Happened Here For Both Parties Involved But Just Because It's A Car And A Motorcycle Accident, Right Away Everybody Wants To Blame The Car. I'm Sorry But How Can You Avoid Something That Is Flying In Between Cars When It Has No Right To Be There In The First Place. You Can't Expect Someone To Be Able To See That Coming And Avoid It If You Are Already Turning And The Cars On The Other Side Have Slowed Down. Then Out Of Nowhere Comes A Motorcycle Trying To Pass Through The Light. You Don't Think The Driver Of The Car Feels Bad For What Happened. There Was Nothing He Could Do To Avoid It. I Am Very So To Both People And Families Involved
