This was my very first job! It's been about 10 years since I worked there and I still miss it. It was so much fun.:)
Not to mention, the food and ice cream was/is awesome!

It was a great place to go when my wife and I were dating back in the 60's. It was owned by the FARLEY family at that time. Great food and great memories like the TREAT on the North side of HANOVER. Anyone remember the A&W?

Great place to get ice cream but they need to work on the efficiency of their process. We went there two Saturdays ago. We waited five minutes in line behind one other couple then it took nearly 10 minutes until we got our order for three people and we didn't order three banana splits! Went there this past Saturday, saw two "mile long lines" and kept driving. At the rate of the week before we would've stood there an hour. We got our ice cream elsewhere.

I'm too young to remember it, but I do know that my parents met there. They remember it fondly!

I'm sure your second choice wasn't as good as the TREAT.

BUT, it is really worth the wait. Great Ice Cream. You will have to try the raspberry swirl with a pretzel cone. It is to die for!!!! If it wasn't a great place to eat the lines wouldn't be that long. You will have to just relax a little and wait in the line if you want really good ice cream!!

my favorite is a plain vanilla soft serve on the pretzel cone. perfect blend of salty & sweet. you can purchase the pretzel cones at the Snyder's factory outlet but I like soft serve in mine. poo. It wasn't Farley's when I was younger but my parents always called it that, so that's what I still refer to it as.

Maybe you can teach them how to make a split ice cream cone ... chocolate on the bottom and vanilla on top. They only know how to do swirl cones and are not smart enough to make a split cone... Just go to any restaurant like Ryans, and you can see a six year old make one that way..... maybe he can teach you guys. Your service sucks..... always give the costumer what he wants, and that is not a ridicules request. Shame on you!
