It seems there are lots of stores that are closing due to the "recession" and the fact that people are not shopping. If you have any "gift cards" from these stores, make sure you use them, or you will lose them !

Watch those store money cards and gift cards.. and credit slips! Stores that informed the Security Exchange of closing plans between October 2008 and January 2009. PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Well it is funny this store closing news came out after Obama got elected. Maybe they know something we don't.......... like forest animals running from danger.

1 of 3 things will happen:

1) Companies and businesses will cut back advertising,( to save money ), and we will see fewer comercials on TV.

2) They will try to bump up sales by advertising more.

3) No change at all

This news has been out since February in most cases (Ann Taylor, Cache, Talbot's). Google "Ann Taylor stores closing". Whoever posted that list is trying to make it look as if it is happening this instant.

this is so untrue!!! i work for one of the companies listed as closing all stores...and its def false!!! i am a district manager, and our company is doing good right now, dispite whats going on in the world!!!! stop spreading these lies and creating problems..you are scaring business away from companies who otherwise are doing fine!!!!

I had heard that the entire shopping center where value city is in hanover will be demolished and a Galleria mall will be built there with a Sears,J.C. Penney and Bon Ton will move there from Eiesenhower dr. There will be no Boscovs and if this is true there will be no more North Hanover Mall.
