What does the Constitution say about the best way to recover from a recession?

What does the Constitution say about what causes recessions and how to avoid another one?

What does the Constitution say about keeping the nation safe from terrorism?

What does the Constitution say about how to spur investment in American jobs?

What does the Constitution say about the most effective immigration policy?

What does the Constitution say about ending the war in Afghanistan.

What does the Constitution say about the best trade policy with South America and China?

Claiming that all a President has to do is follow the Constitution isn't simple - it's simple-minded. The Constitution lays out a broad framework of rights. Governing a nation on a day to day basis is incredibly complex and the Constitution simply does not speak to most of it.

The Constitution is outdated.......on many issues
one example.....the right to bear arms doesnt mean you can go into a bank or grocery store and hold people at gunpoint and shoot if you desire.
Our forefathers had no idea about drive by shootings, gang violence, and too many cowboys in this country that think big government will take all your guns away,YES! people actually believe that!!! It simply meant you have to right to bear arms to protect yourself and your loved ones. That's about it!! It's a simple explained amendment, people read and add too much to it..

The Supreme Court has reaffirmed that the 2nd Amendment guarantees an individual the right to possess guns in the home for self defense. The Justices also stated that this right is “not unlimited”– elected officials may enact common sense gun laws to protect communities.

Those laws are needed to protect the safety of Americans. Too many individuals can obtain dangerous weapons far too easily in America. An epidemic of violence results when guns and even assault rifles can be purchased from unlicensed merchants at gun shows without a Brady criminal background check.

Think we don’t need to change that? Think again. In one year, more than 31,000 people die from gun violence – and close to 79,000 more are shot but survive gun injuries. That’s more than 100,000 people EACH YEAR who are killed or wounded with a gun in our country.

This is not about banning guns. It’s about responsibility in selling and owning guns – and making our homes, schools and communities safer.

Here's the whole thing in a nut shell..whats not to understand???

The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, along with the rest of the Bill of Rights.

In 2008 and 2010, the Supreme Court issued two Second Amendment decisions. In District of Columbia v. Heller (2008), the Court ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm, unconnected to service in a militia and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home. In dicta, the Court listed many longstanding prohibitions and restrictions on firearms possession as being consistent with the Second Amendment. In McDonald v. Chicago (2010), the Court ruled that the Second Amendment limits state and local governments to the same extent that it limits the federal government.

McKeesport police K9 unit watched someone run a red light. The police let it go and followed someone they did not like. That is why McKeesport is failing. They aren't looking for criminals but chasing law abiding citizens they do not like around.

The McKeesport police aren't looking for konnias. They are following average citizens around wasting time. They are not trying to find serious criminals and let Konnias get away. He had time to hide money in Dravosburg. The McKeesport police cover Dravosburg. They want to harrass citizens, that is why McKeesport is failing.
McKeesport stats
http://www.trulia.com/real_estate/McKeesport-...

The reason the city fails:
Mr. Cherepko said the city will face a "serious deficit" next year. He and Mr. Malinchak threw around a lot of numbers and had heated debates about the state of the city's financial affairs throughout the meeting, but no decisions were made regarding the deficit or the financial state of the city. Mr. Segina encouraged Mr. Cherepko to be prepared to give council a report on the city's finances during its July meeting.

Sad city, sad police.
It's all nepotism and very political. McKeesport wasted tax payer dollars on several projects. Look at the multi million dollar fly over ramp there! Goes to many abandoned buildings only!

"With planning and engineering costs, the project totaled approximately $10.9 million. The cost of construction was approximately $5.75 million. It was funded in part by federal transportation funds and stimulus funds that were distributed on the state level."

The solicitor with DUI, wreckless driving without insurance rewarded!
The McKeesport solicitor says he has no indication that his job is in jeopardy after charges were filed against him in connection with a car crash in January.

"J. Jason Elash, 40, was charged Friday with driving under the influence, driving without required financial responsibility and speeding. The charges came three weeks after he crashed his car into a building in McKeesport in the early morning hours of Jan. 22 after attending Mayor Mike Cherepko's inaugural ball at the McKeesport Palisades."

The mayor Cherepko is fighting to keep him as law department head there! McKeesport, the city of failures.

And just how far do you think Ron Paul would get if he were to be elected? He would still have to deal with Congress. It wouldn't surprise me that Congress would start working on plans to impeach Ron Paul if he went too far. He is getting up there in years...

And the Framers of the Constitution knew they had a flawed document from the get go. The slavery issue was kicked down the road for a future generation to solve and, sadly, in a tragic civil war.

The Framers also built into the Constitution a way to amend it which is good for you because you can now vote. And even then, this amendment process wasn't safe from abuse (Prohibition).
