Abbottstown holding funds that have already been approved

You know if they ever questioned Debbie Shearer on the annual picnic that she runs for Abbottstown, I am sure they will find her way out of line. She collects money that she solicits for this public event, yet she has never filed anything with Harrisburg as required, never been audited, or provided records of these monies to anyone. Makes one wonder what she does with these public funds that she has complete control over.

Mrs Shearer has an ego and power trip problem and the citizens of Abbottstown better soon put their foot down before they have no one to help them. First EARPS now the fire company. Eight thousand dollars for fire service she better kiss their feet for the job they do for that kind of money. Does she think she can open her own fire company for eight thousand or does she think she will contract from somewhere else for fire service.Wake up lady before its to late.

it is amazing how these tiny little entities can cause so much disturbance... and from what i read it is all because of one person.... how can anyone withhold money from a fire department that comes in from insurance payments that the state mandates it should go directly to the fire company, the boro only acts as a pass thru for these funds
