You're probably referring to Re-Pete, who called for a boycott of GBurg. I stated he was an idiot for saying he wanted to boycott a place he claimed to adore, which really questioned his entire motive. Nowhere did I say a boycott was good or bad, I simply questioned the character of someone who would say how much they loved something while simultaneously denouncing it. Simple contradiction which showed his lack of character and ability to keep his ramblings straight.

My home is right on Rt. 116 in Hanover - so all the bikers coming from York or G'burg come right past. They sit at the light and rev those motorcycles and our windows rattle, stuff falls off the walls and it's impossible to hear TV.

I think it's wonderful they can afford shiny, expensive bikes but why can't they show a little respect for the people that live in the houses they are roaring by or use a little common sense. There maybe a sick, elderly person in one of those houses or a baby put down for a nap.

An effective and defensible ordinance will need careful research and drafting by engineers for the science of noise and lawyers for the law of noise. I don't expect Gettyssburg to seek either, and the bald bikers with bad teeth and badder babes on the back seat will successfully beat the raps on vagueness or other "technical" grounds.
