I'd rather have people in jail for doing you know... crimes... than for doing something to their own body. IMO, legalization of drugs would allow taxation and regulation to ensure that it dosent kill people. Not to mention we could control where the opium comes from so we aren't paying Alqueda. But who the hell would want to avoid being hypocritical? We love paying someone who will use that money to buy weapons to kill our soldiers.

What's more violent? A rabid grizzly bear or a frat boy? Well, that's kinda funny...

What does an alcoholic like to do more? Destroy property, or beat his wife?...Wait. That's not funny.

What's the deal with drunk driving? There's almost as many fatalities as old age... Ok, scratch that.

What kills quicker? Alcohol poisoning, or liver failure?...Damn, that doesn't work either.
