I am so happy to be reminded of Martin Schreiber's bagpipes!! I worked with Martin many years ago at a manufacturing plant in Geismar, Louisiana, and several of us ate lunch together a couple of times every week. Martin was one of that group, and was always a joy to us.
Did you know that he was also a glider pilot?...and had a great sense of humor? Once, in California, after landing a glider, a curious onlooker asked him what would happen to him if the wind stopped blowing while he was still up in the air. Martin told us he looked a the fellow with a grave expression, and said sadly...."fall like a broken bird..."
Martin, if by some chance you read this post, know that John Peterson and Mike Wingard still talk about you once in a while, with fond memories!!
