Glad to hear this. It is WRONG for A to make a promise to B, based on the behavior of C (whom B intends to pressure) unless, of course, C is an employee paid to do that job.

I recall a generation ago, there were colleges where whoever ran certain student groups (might be a dormitory wing, a fraternity, or something like that) would promise 100% participation for a blood drive. Now, the fact is that not everybody wants to donate blood. Those who did not wish to participate would be harassed, such as, "We promised 100% participation and we have to buy everyone else pizza if we don't do it." The only way to avoid harassment was to claim hepatitis, and nowadays THAT would end up posted on the Internet.

Well, you could claim to have a recent "intimate" piercing... gotta wait a year between piercings to donate blood

At this stage in their lives, in other words young and foolish, almost certainly most of the students at Dartmouth are modern style of "liberals" and/or at least feel obligated to pretend to be modern style "liberals."

And modern style "liberals," in other words the mindless zombies who pretend to so strongly believe and in protecting individual rights and free speech - and even though they do "know" that they "believe" in free speech, individual rights, independent thinking, and not just being members of a mindless herd - also "know" that they are so extremely "superior" and "intelligent," that therefore anyone who refuses to go along with their policies or expresses a contrary viewpoint to theirs is so extremely stupid and inferior, that he or she should be the object of a hate campaign conducted by all of the great independent thinkers in the "liberal" movement, and which should really change its name to THE FAD OF THE MONTH CLUB."

An example of the "great intelligence," "extreme superiority," and "independent thinking" of modern style "liberals" was the herds of stooges and mindless zombies at Duke University who united together as a group to spend months outside the residences of the members of the lacrosse team yelling and screaming at the players since they "knew" the players were "guilty."

Good thing you post had none of these things. You went ahead and just made up all kinds of reasons why you think it's wrong to raise money this way, using only innuendo and your imagination. But, of course, you know they are "guilty."
