MISSING LOCAL TEEN
Wednesday, Feb. 28, at about 7:30 AM, James Holley, a 16-year-old Hanover High School student with walked from his home in Norwich, VT., across Ledyard Bridge and up to Main Street in Hanover. From there he walked down Main Street to Food Stop at the end of town. Despite an extensive search he has not been seen or heard from since. James is believed to have been wearing a Scottish Kilt, and it is very likely that someone gave him a ride from Food Stop between 8:30 and 9:30 AM.
If anyone in the community knows anything in regard to this, please notify the Norwich, VT. police immediately.
If anyone has a friend or acquaintance from outside the area that was driving from Hanover that morning, please notify them of this situation.
James is blond, just over 6 feet tall, probably unshaven and very possibly wearing a red
Scottish Kilt.

Is there any word on this young man yet? I read about it on a bagpipe forum and wanted to know if he had been found.

Unfortunately, we have not heard from James, nor has anyone seen him. We remain hopeful that he will be found or that he will call home. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for our son.

Hello....
I am a private det. working on the disappeance of Maura Murray who went missing on Feb. 9th 2004 from haverhill NH. She has not been seen or heard from since then. We are still looking for her and will continue until this is resolved. I would be happy to look into this case for the family because of the close proximity to Mauras disappearance. Could there be a connection between these t 2 cases...There is always the possibility. I am here to help if I can...Take Care....John

James was a great kid and my heart goes out to his family.
and to T-Man, James obviously wasn't happy with his life, and he did what he had to do to be happy. I don't think it's appropriate to judge him or his decision at all. He's in a better place now, and all we can do is pray for him and his family.

This is very sad. I was a good friend with James. He will be with us forever in our hearts. R.I.P- James Holley.

T-man, you clearly didn't know James. And if you did, you should be ashamed of yourself for saying something like that. James was an exceptional friend and I will never forget him.

Happy birthday buddy, I miss you.
