Small town hero's, big town zero's! What I mean is they probably don't care who the hell your great grandparents were or weren't... The bad thing is we all knew you had a problem and our Sequoyah County Legal system (judges and lawyers) let you get away with it for so long.

Sad that these two Sallisaw boys don't have a clue about life. They are both dads. Too bad they are dead beats. Last time I seen Rhoades, he looked like death asks couldn't stop shaking.

I may stand corrected. He has done so many drugs that it is a blessing if he doesn't have a child.

You can stand corrected, he doesn't have a child and Josh is not a dead beat dad. He sees that his child has everything she wants and needs. Drug addiction is a terrible thing, you should have some sympathy for those who are afflicted with it !!! It is certainly no different than not being able to stop yourself from going to the casino and losing all your money or not being able to make it through the day without a 30 pack of Coors. Educated yourself on addictions..you might find that you also have one or two !!

Most addictions are self imposed, meth is a stupid one as with all drugs I watched my dad kill himself drinking, I dont drink, I watch my mom die of cancer from smoking, I have never smoked. My addiction must be my job, my love of life, my wife, my kids. Now addicitions take up time and mine do, watching my kids at school events, football games and what not, my wife takes up my time telling me she loves me and I am addicted to that so have pity no way, they jumped in feet first and dove to the depths of that, they could have said no but didnt and now they are putting more out ther for others to feed their addictions please there is no jail cell small enough or hole deep enought to put them. Lucky for us they are somewhere else where justice will be done and they may and we hope get a jail term long enought to help them overcome their addiction if THEY want to. Like they in the 70's get high life it is a trip. Just saying

Cudos to you for learning from the mistakes of others the dangers of addiction. I hope you are fortunate and your kids don't jump into the evil of drug or alcohol addiction...it's your worst nightmare come true, I wouldn't wish that on anyone !!!

Derrick used to be so cute and sweet. Just a Good ol country boy. He is a perfect example of what drugs do to someone. He used to be a good friend of mine but now I can't even have a conversation with him. He looks and acts awful. It is heart breaking. Poor Diane. I know she is hurting.

I have to agree. There are so many addictions and it is hard for people that get addicted to drugs to beat it, I feel for the families affected, mine was affected too and all u can do is pray that they get the help they need, being locked up is not always the answer, but sometimes if getting the right kind of help doesn't work it may be the last resort, but who wants to see your loved ones be in jail or addicted! It is not a choice its an addiction. And for those that post stuff about others should look in the mirror, no one if us is perfect now are we, pull the plank out of your own eye before judging others Shame on u it is a sin to gossip

addictions hurt not only the addict but his entire family and friends. If you have ever seen the progression of personal destruction a addict goes through it's heartbreaking and so very very sad.

I wish his family strength and I hope he gets the help and makes the corrections needed to be free of this horrible affliction.

I don't think any of those boys stopped to think when they put lives in danger. Everyone in that hotel was in danger of a meth lab explosion. They need to spend a long time locked up and maybe then they will have time to think about what they have done.

Enough is enough...Derrick is 1000 miles away from here. Poor, sad, mistreated girl is safe from him isn't she ? I am not defending anything that he has done. He had a serious drug problem and is trying his very best to overcome it. This kind of crap isn't going to help him now is it ? If it makes you feel better to tear him down even further then go for it, if him spending years in jail will make you feel better then you will probably get your wish. Just shut the hell up and leave him alone.
