I am concerned about a local government that doesnt have any money and goes out of its way to create problems the solution of which will involve spending money it does not have. And I hope that I have stimulated some people to think about this and the very serious implications it has for the future. I hope people will try, with whatever skills they have, to influence the Towns government to deal with the very real problems of the infra-structure. But, I am completely cynical about this governments ability to do anything.
Dont mistake my concern for some obsession. I am far too old to be caught in that emotional trap. The futility of the human situation is written in history for all to see, that every generation is condemned to make the same mistakes of the generations that preceded it, over and over and over, again, as if the memetic errors in our social programing were objects to be venerated. The futility of the human situation is more a source of sadness than anything else. In the end, what else is there to do but to take no small amount of humor and entertainment in what is going on because of the absurdity of it all. What happens in this Town really wont effect my life very much, if at all. I have other places to go if gets too awful. It is the people who cannot or will not leave, for whatever reason, who will pay the hardest price for the misplaced priorities of the current regime.
Werewolf - By looking at the hours/times youve posted onto this website, and taking note of how many posts youve left here,(even going to the extreme of copying-and-pasting the same ones onto many), you appear to be, literally, obsessed with this website, and this issue in Hanna.
Whats happened has happened. To make your life less stressful, and to get it so your time isnt, obviously, consumed with this website/this EMS issue - Let it go just sit back now and wait and see what results in the natural/legally-related side of this issue. By doing this, youll have more quality time and fulfillment for your family/other things in your life.
