Pacificorp did well with 7mile as far as hiring a contractor that encouraged and perhaps even demanded that locals were hired as much as possible. They get a failing grade for their last project (High Plains) as their contractor on this job used union companies and basically only hired out of work union people from other states. We as a community need to demand that this doesnt happen with the Dunlop project. There are too many people in Carbon County without jobs for a big corporation to come in and use our resources without at least making an attempt to put some of our own hard working people to work. PacifiCorp, you need to pay closer attention to our needs as a community and less attention to your bottom line.
