Local sex offender

Has anyone read or heard any information on the sex offender that moved to town? I know his basic information, but was wondering if anyone knew any more about him. Leo Dewayne Anzick is the name given at the wysors.dci.wyo.gov web site. Check it out, according to the map he lives less then 1 block from the elementary, kinda looks like an empty lot to me? How do we know he even put the correct address in? Isn't there anything we can do to get some answers?

I agree. I looked at it by satelite picture and it looks like he is living between skinneys and burns garage at the bottom of the hill. Is there a house down there? Or maybe a camper? I think its very close to the school and would like to know his level of danger to our kids. He was convicted of a sexual assault on a child folks we need to know if he is even allowed to be that close to the school. Any ideas on how to find out?>

Supposeably Dennis is looking into it. Something about his tags on his vehicle are from Elk Mtn. So it's hard telling where this guy is actually living. He's not in compliant to well if he gives Hanna address with Elk Mtn as address for his vehicle.

No your wrong law enforcement does not have to tell you we have a sex offender here. They are only required to tell us if its a certain level of offender and then only the immediate neighbors. Good thing the website is up.

It looks like he is living in that white modular by the tracks. they have a couple campers maybe he is a relative?

I went to the site for reg.sex offenders and there are 0 matches for hanna wyoming. none listed as living in hanna. So who are you all talking about?

I called the sherriffs office, they said don't worry, he moved to Rawlins, they are supposed to be updating the website soon! Good News for us, if we see him in town for more then 3 days in a row, call the Sherriffs office!

They've updated the website. Just two days ago, and when following the original link that was left here - the subject of this thread was listed,(picture and all info included). And geeze - for a town the size of Rawlins, there sure are a lot of offenders living there! Another reason I'm glad to glad to call Hanna home.

He is now living at the Days Inn in Rawlins. I dont know if he works there but while I was regeristing at the front desk I recognized him as he walked into the lobby and casually strolled behind the front desk and started chatting with an employee. I would be very concerend if he is working at a Motel, and if he isn't I am still concered that someone with his level of convection has such easy access behind the front desk of a Motel.

I say lynch mob, this is Wyoming. There are not that many places people go here. By the way I hate sex offenders, they should be castrated with a rusty spoon. Then gang raped by a group of prisoners.

Who? Matt Schisel is the only other one I know of, but I thought he lived in Rawlins.

You don't have to be told about sex offenders living in your neighborhood if they are not above a certain classification. You would be surprised to know that in WYOMING there is a lot they don't have to tell you. And yes, there is a sex offender living in our community. Guess that doesn't even include the ones that have moved here with all of these out of state workers. They are registered in other places. After all they are not residing here. Think about it.

Hmmm. Sex offenders are supposed to be reported, but the sheriff of CC seems to think this is unfair treatment of these poor men. "And justice for all" went out with the pledge of allegiance in the schools and the rest of our consitutional rights. There are wolves in sheeps clothing amongst you, even though they may not be registered.
If the cops in Hanna are doing good, Hurray ! Much better than the previous ones who would romp on the neighbors wife(gotta love that hill above Columbia st) rather than answer 911 calls.(God bless VC for the truth). There never was much of that in Hanna.

Guess I have to comment on that one. Not that I am really defending the Sheriff, but that is the law. Only certain status of offenders do we the public have to be told about. You can read that for yourselves. If you want to lay blame try do so with the state. The laws as they have set down are what the Sheriff has to abide by. Sometimes I don't agree with the law either.

Now he is listed in Saratoga on 114 W Bridge, 1/2 block from the HUB - Big Brothers, Big Sisters, lots of kids, 1 block from the preschool and two blocks from the elementary. Parents were alerted this past week and his photo has been circulating. I can't google any info about him. I saw a blue ford explorer parked outside, but the license number was 115B instead of 240L.
