What is happening to this case...forgotten....the news is fille with OJ ...who cares about that person....lets get Lily Jane murderers remved from society

Stevens, 30, is charged in the death of 4-year-old Lily Jane Brigance.
The trial for Andrea Stevens has been delayed until Nov. 30. According to prosecutor Thom Snyder, the District Attorney's office has located additional witnesses.

I am a little confused on this how is this little girl's last name brigance if her fathers was stevens? And where is Lily's real mother? does not make sense to me at all. Regardless this is so sad how could someone kill a child? it is just so wrong.Anyone have any more details on this case as to what is going on?
