Shaftsbury awards construction bid for water project

The Water Board has awarded the construction bid for the village water project to Drilling Technologies, of Troy, N.Y., for $306,090. The Water Board, which consists of the same members as the Select Board, met Monday before the regular Select Board meeting.

I would like to know how this would affect the current water contract with North Bennington? If Shaftsbury starts to supply its own water from their own wells. How does this affect the present NB bond situation?
