excellent effort to preserve rather than desecrate. mahalo to the military.

As a former servicemember, I have firsthand knowledge of the destruction caused by the military on the environment. However, it's nice to know that the Navy is taking active steps to preserve and protect this little graveyard on Kauai. Lee, thank you for sharing this story.

Right on Navy! Your respect for
the deceased is moving. The military's
strength has always centered around
a belief in dignity.When it carries over to desceased and nearly forgotten
individuals, I'm especially moved.
